Thank you so much for the update! I know users have been waiting for this for a time, but kudos to the programmers for addressing all the feedback concerns from the last build and listening to the users!

The controls are much more intuitive now that they're mirroring mostly every other Roku app. The visuals are very nice too while maintaining the original look and feel of the first redesign (which was quite slick visually). I'm glad to see the return of the thumbnails when "fastforwarding" through an episode. Funny enough I actually miss the orange indicator bar that was at the top of the screen! (Maybe the thumbnails can be incorporated with this for the next build? )

My only suggestion right now is for when browsing through titles and there's the information bubble which pops up when a show is highlighted - I wish it'd pop up after a second or two instead of immediately. That way when I'm browsing/scrolling through shows I could casually look at the thumbnails as right now the information bubble blocks what's underneath. I kind of feel like I have blinders on when navigating and I find myself uncounciously tilting my head up to try and look around the bubble. (Which I know darn well won't help! lol) For a side note, on my 46" television I could deal with slightly larger thumbnails as well, but that's a minor issue.

Overall though I'm really happy with the redesign and ECSTATIC that the controls have been redone! *thumbs up* Good work, Crunchyroll peeps!

That commercial for some cameraphone with different characters beatboxing. I sat through several of this same ad in an endless loop yesterday before realizing I spent close to 18 minutes watching nothing but ads, I gave up and had an overwhelming urge to throw a brick at my tv screen then calmed down and remembered I'm not made of money.

I don't want to complain, because I love crunchyroll, and I am damn happy that shows are arranged by genre now, but I don't like this update one bit. It's ugly, stuff just looks like it's thrown on in the "My Shows" menu. The other way was much more aesthetically pleasing, I can't skip to the other end of my queue anymore with the <- on my roku, and I can't skip to the next episode with ->, either. Neither does the * button on my roku show me the runtime anymore, it brings up some settings menu that's useless. While this update did have some things I liked, there are also things that really annoy/frustrate me.

The STOP button to keep from going to the next episode gives no feedback - hard to tell if it's been recognized or just slow

App is crashing and freezing way too often.

I miss being able to move shows in my queue but that's minor. (Really what would be great is some kind of flag /favorite system to be able to maintain a secondary list, but that's a site wide thing)

My videos aren't playing on Roku. I re-installed the app and logged out and in and it's still not playing anything. Is there a way I can fix this?

Hellz yeah! I like some of these changes....the Roku app was certainly in need of it. And I like the addition of a genre options to the search, but one thing: why no horror category? I mean, I'm sure you have the animes that fit that genre bunch somewhere throughout the categorization of that section, however it'd be nice if you all would actually put a section in for it.

Haven't been able to watch anything on CR, keep getting that "Playback Interrupted" message. It's been a few weeks.... I'm highly disappointed at the lack of progress in getting this problem resolved. Please get this fixed.

Good news? Everyone. Earlier this week I contacted crunchyroll support. In the email they said that this was a known issue and that they are currently working on fixing it, but until then we'll just have to watch using our mobile devices and computers. It is unknown how long until the problem is resolved but we do know they are working on it.

Keep watching anime.

Seven weeks later, it's still broken.
I remember the last roku update being a similar disaster, but it took nowhere near this long to fix!

How can I get this on my Kindle which doesn't have access to Google Play store???

(after it's fixed of course)
