I suppose not. I do think all human lives have some inherent value, but that not all human lives are valued the same based upon their contributions and cost.

Although it does not follow for me that human life without acquired value ought not to be protected. I suppose I can simplify my thoughts on that matter to: Humans are not capable of weighing the inherent value of a human life.

Hmm, All Life are Precious. I couldn't kill anyone if I join Army.. I mean first thing you would think about the day he was born in this world held by his mother and all that time taking great care of him. Thinking about all that time he study hard in school and how he/she struggle to acquires a skills. Also that he/she have family, love one that await for his return..His/Her Son/Daughter...

But what about those that have no value for Human Life? I'm talking about Scumbag that sell human lives or kill them to harvest their body part and sell them on Black Market.. I have no feeling for those kind of people, I probably be like Shinsengumi Kill Evil Instantly heh. :p

Does that make me Hypocrite?

Value is a very open ended idea so its very hard to pinpoint even within the realm of things that talk about this stuff such as philosophy. I for one say yes, all human life is valuable. Though not everyone's life is of equal value. That statement right there opens up a interesting little discussion on its own. Because value changes from person to person one can not decide who is more valuable however, you have to pick a reference point of some kind to measure value. For example I could say Bill Gates is more valuable than Obama, now lets say you come along and say the opposite of what I said, who is right? You would have to set a standard for it but even then who is to say that standard is better than any other standard?

Another interesting question is say you agree and all human life is important, what about animals? Are all cats lives important? What about AI that reaches the level where its indistinguishable from humans themselves?

It's up to the person to decide if their life is valuable or not. I see everyone equally. Rich or poor, nice or mean, at the end of the day we're all the same. Again, it's up to you to decide if your life is valuable or not.

Nothing is valuable, except that which I make valuable through sheer force of will. Or, maybe not will, more like involuntary projections.

I can't value the lives of BABIES, too?
What happened to the concept of altruism?

I value the internet, therefore I value my computer too, the furnace used to melt, the grinder used to grind, this copper and gold that was turned to wire, this oil and sand turned to plastic and rubber and silicon then optical glass, the assembly line, inventor of the wheel, of the gears, of electricity, of binary, the scientists, the janitors, the marketer, the acid treater, acid truck driver, ballast control operator, blending machine operator, carbon dioxide truck operator, cementing equipment operator, cement truck driver, chemical services operator, chemical truck operator, coiled tubing operator, control room operator, derrick worker, dynamic positioning operator, formation fracturing operator, frac driver, motorman/woman, nitrogen operator, nitrogen truck operator, oil well acidizer, oil well cementer, power-tong operator, production tubing operator, pumper operator, reeled tubing operator, snubbing-unit operator, and well treatment blender operator,,, and that's just to mention an itty-bitty fraction of the people involved, who has allowed for me to sit here on my leather couch and enjoy myself in front of my computer, wrapped around a blanket made of synthesized wool and polyester, with a mug of coffee, filtered cigarette, a radiator, oven, and refrigerator too.

In short, I value all all human life. Even the murderer, and the rapist, and the child molester, and the tyrant, and the nazi, too, as they, at some point, at any point on a vast linear timeline, have also, whether for good or bad, played a part in allowing me to sit here and enjoy my fucking computer games.
