i don't see anything wrong with it as long as you don't go drunk and crazy, i'd say 16 isn't a problem i mean u gotta be practical with it, as a 13 year old i don't think it's one of the greatest things but crazy teenagers will be teenagers lol, just don't over do it

ooo, you're in for a surprise.

quite a surprise... hehe...

i don't like beer at all. but i drink it anyway.

underage drinking, hmmm... when i was around 13-15 years old (10 years ago), I didn't have any reasons why I should drink. Plus, I also thought I was too young to go drinking stuff.

it isn't right... it isn't wrong. it's a choice.

It's not a sin, or something worse. The problem with that is the law. It is not good for politics, and governments to let something moral, as lowering the drinking age go easy like that. Society look at it with different eyes, but normally it is all because of the women. No, I am not accusing, just pointing out. When I say 'women' I am talking about the 'mothers,' 'grandmothers,' 'aunts,' etc. Fathers wouldn't mind in most of the cases. It is up to you if you drink, or not been underage. But also, been underage means you are under the wing, and law of your parents, meaning you are not exactly 'free' in the eyes of society to do whatever you want.

I agree wit dat, yes sum mothers, grandma's, aunts. bt not mine my mother gave my 1st drink den my grandma & aunt next dey rock!!! i only drink on special occasions oh i dnt do drugs....

My grandmother was the one who introduced me to whine when I was 2 or 3 years old. Underage drinking doesn't harm you, abusing it does. The problem is not that people are too young to realize that it's bad for them, it's that they're not mature enough to not think it's cool. The majority only think it's "cool" because others do, and they think it;s cool because they're breaking the law.

It all just depends on your maturity level, some people can handle drinking, like knowing your limits, and to not do really stupid shit while drunk. I go to parties, as long as I ask my dad first, then I get him to pick me up, when I have to leave, or if I feel uncomfortable or threatened.

You're right, it is a choice, and I could care less if someone my age does it. However, considering there is a strong case of alcoholism in my family(both sides) and I don't like the idea of losing control of your mind/body while being drunk. So, I'll probably never drink.

you're not drunk until your face is numb

thats the motto. if you haven't been drunk enough to not feel your face, then you haven't been drunk. thats all there is to it.

I think you should be allowed to drink when you're 18 since you're allowed to die for your country at that age. I don't agree with anything younger than 18 however b/c teens can be really quite irresponsible and they often lack judgement. I taught highschool for a while and I can say that those kids should not be drinking.
