I never drank. I never plan to.

I'm okay with people who knows their limit
Or knows how to hold their alcohol
But if they get drunk and stuff
I totally get pissed and then I start pitying them .___.

I don't drink. I don't like the taste of beer or alcohol. I'm fine with other people doing it as long as they don't overdo it.

drinking is defentely a poison to the mind, and sure is hell weed. but let me say something if u dont do both or one of each dont even bother to say anything negative in this topic, cuz that is sure as hell hypocritical ...i only drink when there are parties, but other than that i didnt drink when i was underaged. ive never tried weed, it sure as hell makes you dumb, but appearantly it feels good, try only at ur own risk...

I think the drinking age should be lowered. 21 is ridiculous. I can get married but not serve alcohol at my wedding?

besides, I think if drinking was legal, it would lose it's novelty to a lot of teenagers, thus creating more responsible drinkers.

In any case, age isn't a magical determining factor in how responsible someone will be with liquor. And 21? Whats the difference between a 21 year old and an 18 year old? Honestly? In my experience...not much.

then u might like to know that there is a big push by many colleges to lower the age back to 18.

since studies has shown that heavy binge drinking decreases greatly after becoming of legal age

AMEN TO THAT!

Haha...
As for the discussion, I've been abusing my liver for about a year now. And as much as I would like to say that the novelty is wearing off, it isn't. I'm sure I'll be drinking for a few years, yet. Though I've figured out that drinking alone is much more amusing than drinking with others. People bring out the worst in me as a drunk. I, on the other hand, amuse myself. Quite a bit.
I don't drink on a regular basis. I've got a full time job and no real friends. The only person that can buy me alcohol is my brother, who's an alcoholic himself. I wouldn't consider myself to be an alcoholic. I maybe drink two or three nights a month. He drinks every day, practically.
To each their own, I guess.

Posted 8/25/08
my dad offered me a drink when i was 7, tried it but it was icky
then later on he'll offer me to drink anytime, except he knows that i don't like bitter stuff, so he don't really care anymore...

haha! underage drinking..well i think it's good that
there are laws that prohibits minor to drink liquor.
well my parents do not actually allow me to drink, i don't know
now that I'm already 20, well i started drinking when i was
in highschool.
well my friends and i were just having fun,
well the feeling of being drunk is not that good though,
but the real good experience there is when you drink with
your friends,it's a very happy moment for me.

the first time i drank alcohol was when i was 5 years old, my country did not really impose that law so much, and my family didn't prohibit me, they let me drink, i do not think they were wrong, since right now i really don't like drinking alcohol. It's like this, the more you try to stop a kid from doing something, the more he/she'l want to do that thing".
