i'm a motherF***ing drunk, and proud of it! its in my blood. my dads parents drank themselves to death, and my grandmother is slowly drinking herself to death, and i expect to follow in suit.

From evening to morning
And morning and evening
I wanna drink
Something stronger than a man
From evening to morning
And morning and evening
I wanna drink
'cause that's what I am

Beer, beer
I want beer
From beer I get really drunk
Beer, beer
I need more beer
So much I pass out

For beer I'm working
For beer I'm fighting
For beer I'll do
Whatever I have to
When drunk I'm talking
When drunk I'm joking
When drunk I can be as I've
Always wanted to be

Underage drinking by itself really doesn't hold any more consequences than legal drinking aside from law-breaking, as long as they're both done in moderation. Younger people typically have a sense of "immortality," i.e. they're less cautious and lack self-control, thusly more likely to get completely hammered and lose inhibitions. Of course, one of my grandfathers drank himself into a diaper and a wheelchair until he died. Age doesn't necessarily mean anything, but the majority is typically what's looked at.

Really, (assuming we're talking about the U.S.) we live in a democratic society, and underage people can't lobby for their rights very effectively at all, and overage people obviously don't care anymore about this issue. You can say the primary factor in determining the legal drinking age is mothers (and other various relatives) who lost children etc. in an alcohol-related incident. I believe these people are also much more likely to be housewives, which makes them much more able, financially speaking, to invest a great deal of their time on these sort of issues.

If I'm not mistaken, the majority of voters are categorized as "elderly." I believe it's some odd 7% of people over the age of 65 have ever used the internet. Today's generation, sadly, is by no means running today's society.

uhhhm i think its alright for minors to drink beer or any hard drink..as long as you can handle your self, you know what i'm saying. Don't drink beyond your limits, because for me my definition of happy hour is hanging out with friends and beer. but we always have someone designated to drive or to take us home, so that we can be wasted with nothing to worry about. just drink moderately and responsibly.

I've drink a cup of beer when I was 13 at my uncle's birthday then after that we, my cousins, get together each night and have a bottle of beer and still until today my cousins are at it ^^ but I controlled myself because I don't want to be alcoholic. Also If you reside here the ticket is one shot after that you can't resist anymore especially if the one giving it to you is your relative or closest friend.

"started drinking when i was 10 and now i'm a recovering alcoholic. lesson learned: DON'T DRINK IF YOU'RE UNDER 21 or better yet don't drink at all. i have a weak liver, btw." well said by yueyouko personally I don't like drinking but as it is costumary and a sign of respect here. I refuse to drink when it is schoolday tomorrow and if there is no occasion that's my condition for drinking liquor and I wish I had a weak liver or some ailment of the kidney so that they, my cousins or relatives, will not let me drink ^^

I'm only seventeen (legal age here is 18) and I've been severely drunk at least 10 times (ie black out and wake up the next day). I started drinking / clubbing when I was 14, and I really regret it even though it seemed really cool to drink and sneak into clubs. Now, I just drink a glass of wine maybe for dinner, or a cocktail when the occasion calls for it. Just a little won't kill you, but there's nothing proud in being able to get mad drunk

Yea i was never one for clubbing but i would go to my mates and we would just get hammerd when i was like 13 or 14 and i mean really fucked but i still drink now that im 18 and can do it legaly but i don go out to get drunk (although sometimes its like fuck it lets get fucked) usually we go out for a pint after the cinema or like have a beer or glass of wine with food and hey if u end up stayin till 3am and get drunk hey youve done it but say u go home after like 3 pints that doesnt bother me probs cause ive been so drunk too many times when i was younger but dont get me wrong its still fun to get drunk sometimes but i dont go out with the intention of gettin fucked (although somtimes i do go out with that intention:P)
