I don't have this issue as I don't tend to make enemies online. The enemies I have made are easy to just leave. Having a high level of computer knowledge makes it impossible for people to track me.

I have had some people talk about me behind my back (non malicious). This ended up costing me a friend as a gay friend of 5 years showed up on my doorstep to confess love. Things got realllllly awkward between us after that.

Trusting people on the internet is pointless. No human is truly good, no human is truly evil. Humans are a mix of both. I don't ever plan to give my irl name out to people on the internet, though due to some mishaps there is a scrublord on this forum that actually has my full name. I am going to have to kill them soon, but it will be fine.

I think the first point is where your issue is concerned. You tend to make enemies with your overly critical and harsh way of speaking. If you talk in a more normal mannered method, you wont make enemies and this wont happen. That would be asking a lot though, changing isn't easy.

I don't think people trash talk me a lot behind my back too often.

I know people do it to a certain extent in the online game community that I manage. But that's more a case of "rabble rabble! down with the authority!" type of stuff. Nothing too shocking

Happened to me once.
It was a proper forum that used to be something with a very tiny number of remaining posters, most of the users there were in high school or 'never left high school' I liked that it was pretty free with speech but the limited number of people talking made half the posts garbage and I quit because of the constant popularity contests.
I forgot about them for a while then found them again after a year or so and nothing changed, people were still bitching about me, some made up stories about why I left and others wished I stayed and gave the site more variation in opinions. But I missed them even less after seeing how petty and small minded they were.

But i also have problem where i do or say something then give my full name and address to people and tell them to do something iam trying to cut that out though. But that was back in the day when i was a full on flamer. Now iam a polite young man sipping hot tea in the burrows of hell.

I've never been targeted that way. I'm pretty boring so there's not much for people to talk about.

Several years ago I was a staff member of a large online community and saw lots of that happening to others though. Worst case I remember is when a widely hated admin had some dirty pictures leaked after his online girlfriend's email was hacked. He just became a bigger dick after that. Incidentally, his "girlfriend" was a 40 year old woman who was married to another staff member. He knew about the whole affair but passed it off saying "they just roleplay". At the same community another female staff member came out as being male after several years. Such a wild online community, it was nonstop drama. Sometimes I miss the craziness of IRC.

Wouldn't say "Impossible". Only sure way to prevent a dedicated black hat is by never turning your computer on. Next best thing would be to never to connect to the internet.

Not on the internet no.

Now that I think of it. Some of these arguments Iv had with some users on here were incredibly pointless. I can't even remember why we argued XD

It doesn't really matter. Give em a few weeks and don't respond to it and everyone forgets.

I'm okay with positive talk but I'm still not exactly comfortable with it. I prefer when people joke about me so I can laugh instead of simply sit and listen.

I get spoke negatively about all the time but never do i say anything until its in front of my face. Cause well simply not worth my time if not man or women enough to say it to me yourself.

But I can be very outspoken and opinionated..

Honestly tho I heard it all, so really..nothing phases me.
Top i only care about so many peoples opinion.

Ai, it isn't impossible, but a dedicated black hat is nowhere near as common as one would think. If a black hat wants to come at me, I would say sure. Let the Games begin!

Aside from my professional environments and gaming, this is probably the only place my name will pop up randomly, in any fashion. Can't say I care really whether it's in a negative or positive fashion because at the end of the day they're either playing around (like most of us here) or their opinion of me doesn't matter one bit nor impact me.

It's all in good fun to me. I get my laughs either way.

On a side note, it's funny people still threaten DDoS or use it. You never know who you're fucking with on the other end.

If only annoys me when they talk about me when we are in the same room and I can clearly hear what they are saying.

It depends who they were. If they were someone important.... a friend, boss, coworker, boyfriend, etc.. I'd definitely think about bringing it up. But if it's online some place, involving strangers, I'd just try not to worry about them as much as possible since it's clear we're not getting along very well
