Well I guess now I know why everyone in the US are so shallow minded and ready to give away or let their freedoms be taken away...it is Obama's fault. Thanks for clearing that up for me, I kind of figured that people who can't think for themselves would just follow whoever the leader is.

Obama is not shallow minded and I don't even know how you arrived to that conclusion. Obama's jokes are so old and lame.

Way to miss the point once again, It is not about following the leader, it's about being a bigot and taking advantage of having a president who embraces and encourages bigotry and hate crimes.

No, I do get it. But you are framing it like it's an current epidemic now, that there is an increase of violence in general across the US.

I don't like him either so I'm not really defending him

"it's a current epidemic now"...when did I say that or that there's an increase of violence in US NOW? I said that there WILL be more hate as you can see from the spoilers because he is hateful and his followers are the same.

Both candidates are absolutely crazy. The UK is doomed no matter what because we just end up being forced to go along with whatever crazy mental schemes the US come up with

Did you mean all candidates? The primary hasn't happened yet, so the candidates for the Republican and Democratic parties have yet to be selected. Or were you referring to Hillary and Trump -- the two people currently leading in the polls of their respective parties?

If Trump wins, send me to Canada. Or else I'm trampling over the rednecks who want to remain in the US if the mofo gets elected. I would much rather have Sir Justin Fortysome But Still Pretty Goodlookin For His Age Trudeau than Rodent Toupee Trump. I'd take Bernie, even, his views are too left for me, but Bernie would stil be a far better choice. Even Hil the Criminal would be a better choice than Dumptrump. Anyone would be. If an actual majority puts that lunatic psychopath in office I'm seriously gonna be woeful about what the statute of this country, and the world, is coming to. Just because he is "blunt" and "doesn't restrain himself", does not make him a competent character for such a position of leadership. If anything, his lack of restraint could plunge us into another world war. The man is nuts. He is self focused, all he craves is power, he does not have consideration for the people of the nation at all!!! And all his followers are the annoying extreme right wing morons or the cluelessly oblivious people who know nothing about politics. Euuuugh!

Oh so you mean like the hate crimes against the cops and military that Obama has riled up, or how he is talking about how people are still clinging to racism like the slavers from the times at the start of this country. Obama is no better, if not worse than Trump in that regard, especially since Obama is projecting his "hatred" onto people within the US as opposed to the people, whether they are terrorists or not, outside the borders of the US. I don't blame Trump for hating terrorists and people who associate themselves with terrorists, as soon as he attacks innocent people for something they haven't done then I will start bad mouthing him. So far he has only suggested that we should think about who we should and or should not let into our country, especially if there is a 100% chance that terrorists are going to infiltrate the refugees who will be coming onto US soil. I don't see why everyone sees Trump as a racist or hateful person just because he puts priority on current US citizens over people who aren't. As a president/ruler of a country your number one priority should be the protection of the people who you represent, not the protection of anyone and everyone; because doing so is physically impossible and improbable for any one country, and it would be suicidal for said country. I am not trying to attack you in any way shape or form, I am just attacking the current president because of the incompetence that is known as Obama; the president that has only been working to undermine this country and its laws so that he can push his own ideologies onto the people of this once great country whether they like it or not.

Yeah wasn't it just recently Trump threatened to leave the Republican party? This will likely leave a bad taste in a lot of the Republican leaders and cause a lot of divide. Don't think it's their year. I also highly doubt Hilary will ever be elected as she as you said doesn't exactly have the best reputation.

Problem is a lot of the Republican base isn't very happy with the people at the top.Trump might be able to pull off what Perot couldn't.

I was referring to Trump, and also the black man who hates homosexuals. I can't remember his name though.

Ah, I see.

Anyway, his name is Ben Carson. Thankfully, he's gone down in the polls due to campaign infighting.

Yep, that's him! I'm glad he's gone down in the polls because he was pretty high up last time I saw people talking about American politics on BBC 2

Don't recall him saying he hates Homosexuals, Wouldn't know much since I don't see a lot of American news (Australian).

He didn't outright say he hated them but he said he thought homosexuality was wrong and shouldn't be allowed. He also said homosexuality was a choice.

Couldn't agree more. That fucker's crazy. Did you know that he believes the pyramids were built to house grain? If I'm not mistaken, he also said that Obamacare is worse than slavery.

I didn't know about the pyramid thing, but what he said on Obamacare was shown on BBC2. I was watching his speech thinking "wow, the crazy is strong with this one!"
