So I have to say, I fit a lot of the stereotype LOL (And yes, I am perfectly happy with my life bla bla XD)

- owning over 25 pieces of anime merchandise, my whole room is literally anime :D

- gaming and watching anime are my primary free time activities, along with a ton of socializing with friends, but those are all otaku XD

- overweight. Not morbidly obese, but BMI of about 28. Not too bad really, still overweight

- this because like fat foot and lots of it, and ...

- ... the last time I sported was 6 years ago, then I was freed from it after high school

- 24 and still live with my mom (it´s more fun then to live alone, plus much more free time since I don´t do the chores, plus much cheaper, with not having to hire a room and such) ...

- ... and still study at university as well , off course...

- ... Japanstudies and computer science ^^

- a huge pervert, and last time I checked over 220 GB of cosplay porn on the harddrive

- I cosplay, and have made a lot of friends that way, always a lot of fun at cons to act like you are the character and people like it and such XD

- BUT, *NOT* a virgin! In fact about the furthest you can get removed from it, even tough I have never been in a relationship ever XD (too much trouble).

So how about everyone else ?

Let's see

I own about 40 complete anime series on either dvd or blu-ray

I split my free time between the target range, gaming, working out, and anime watching

I am in damn fine shape and I plan on staying that way as long as physically possible.

There isn't enough money in the world to make me touch unhealthy food at all.

I left home when I was 18 and have never been back.

I've only cosplayed as Dante from Devil May Cry a couple of times, still have the outfit though and it still fits despite the fact I made it when I was fifteen.

I was sixteen almost seventeen when I lost my virginity so a bit of a late bloomer I do desire a stable relationship but can't find anything other then casual sex. It's just there isn't many people out there I can stand to be around, their lack of values I hold dear is probably one.

Mah, the vast majority of the hdd is filled with video games in my steam library XD

I have 3.8 TB of storage in total, all filled to the brim with 200 gb vocaloid music, 2 tb games, 230 gb porn, a few hundred gigs of anime, and more (also tons of university stuff but that is all small... at most a gb in total XD)

I like you :P

I am not hardcore enough to have a pillow tough, so expensive :-( Soo lewd, but much money :-(

Oh yeah I forgot I have glasses too!

I love leaving the house... I go to otaku events and hang out places a few times per week. D: But I guess that still fits the stereotype no? XD

How is Japan crate? I find it risky to spend money not nowing what I get... I only ever bought a yaoi random bag in a dealerroom a few months back and that was not a success :-(

Ok, I'll bite.

Stereotypes that apply to me:
I organize anime conventions.
I go to a lot of anime conventions, also abroad.
I moderate for a couple of online communities.
I have a subscription to an anime magazine.
I like video games.
I have been to Japan, several times.
My dvd and blu ray collection consists mostly of anime and Asian cinema, but I do also have a pretty decent collection of Western titles.
My bookcase is mostly filled with manga, although light novel series are an upcoming second these days. Most of my "normal" books are Fantasy novels.
I listen mainly to Japanese music when I am alone, I don't dislike Western music however and switch to normal radio when I am among non-otaku friends or co-workers.
My most worn t-shirts are those I've gotten from conventions and other Japan related events, I also wear them at work.
I carry a little more weight than the average person of my height, but I am not obese.
I am not the sporty type, but I do like to take walks.
I have a beard, but I do keep it trimmed.
I am handy with computers and other electronic equipment.
I live alone, but I do have a relationship. And yes, she also likes anime.

The one I got wasn't too expensive, well 45$... D:
There is really no place to go out and do anime and gaming stuff around here.. Not many gamers in this city
It's pretty cool, I've gotten some really good stuff, but there is a lot of gum in their crates so if you're not into that you might not like it :(
The different drinks and the different pocky and pretz sticks are my favourite parts of the crate :3

I'm not an otaku. I don't own a single anime merchandise and own about 5 physical manga copies. I just enjoy watching anime, no need for me to waste money on figurines or other kinds of merchandise.

Wait it's mostly snacks? Then I will "stick " to the 1 euro authentic pocky packs from the local Toko thank you~ XD

Such a shame about no events :-( here we have cosplay meets, a manga kissa, a few clubs, about 10 cons a year... and the country is so goddamn small you can actually go everywhere easily with the train! (despite what everyone thinks about Dutch trains, I never have big problems with them and international studies have proven them to only be second to glorious Dainippon in terms of efficiency worldwide)

I like the Netherlands, it´s a good place to be an otaku! Helped by the poster above you, because animecon is the biggest con in the country and right in my cite~ And the most fun one together with abunai and nishicon IMHO altough I love them all~

Not sure. I have plenty of merch in the form of plushies, shirts, and figures. I'm subscribed to some boxes. I don't buy dvds too often but I buy plenty of manga. Have a few wallscrolls but only one is up. I don't know. If you walked in my room anime wouldn't smack you in the face from every corner, but you can definitely tell I like it.
