Ever felt like you were at the right place at the right time? Ive felt this recently, just on a bigger scale. Everything that happened to me in the past 2 weeks have had ridicolous relevance. It's like the people around me are programmed to give me just enough information to make it through, and their actions are somewhat focused towards me.

Just one example is this one guy at school ive never talked with, and he suddenly calls out to me and gives me a paper for a test. I had no idea that paper would be included in the test, so i wouldve done horrible without it.

So do you ever feel like the main character?

Maybe you have the power to influence people and you are coming of age? Just kidding! Or am I?

Yeah been in the same situation but different circumstance. I usually wait for the other shoe to drop to see what my payment for good fortune costs.

Only in my dreams. I don't remember most but the few i've had, that i can remember, would help me. I've once dreamed of every question that would come in an exam i did the next day. This is of course a little different to what you mean but sleeping has helped me out before. lol.

Nah most of the time I'm the re-occurring character

Sometimes I'm a supporting character

Nope. I'm always willing to play the supporting part as I'm quite anxious and stuff and not exactly in the mood to talk up to the role. I never embraced the role of being the main character in anything, so I just am not feeling it. But as much as I don't want to, there will be times where I have to and it becomes traumatizing at times.

Nah. If anything I feel like I'm the narrator/spectator. I have the voice for it too.

Personally I feel like the overpowered supporting character whom everyone wonders isn't the focus of the show rather than the main character. I kinda prefer it that way to be honest.

The only place I've ever come close to being the main character is my own imagination.

I've been there, seen and done that, but I was never the person at the center of the action.

Yes! Treating everything like plot/gameplay elements of an old PS1 RPG is one of my go-to inference patterns for approaching life, and I've found that it yields surprisingly effective results when utilized by anyone who is not a total lame ass. I main charactered the shit out of life at a scale which few who witnessed it were able to fathom when I was younger, but being in my late twenties, I feel too old for that role now. Did the Kakashi/Auron-esque mentor figure thing for a younger main character for a while. Pretty sure I am "offscreen" now, but I do have occasional moments where I back up and realize that most of what I busy myself with these days is fairly eccentric and horrifying by the other humans' standards, so, when I elect to think within the aforementioned inference pattern, it seems likely to me that I'm molding backstory for a role as a major antagonist in some other brat's storyline ten to twenty years down the road (I expect to just sort of glacially drift into this role without giving it much thought until it's too late).

I am always the main character.....of my own story, even if it is not a particularly interesting one. Probably written by a novice. He should have written in some super powers or something, or least something other than a modern day setting. Needs a better catch. 5/10

There may be some familiarities, but I don't feel like the main character. The only time I am is in my own life, but that's rather moot considering what the OP is trying to explore with his inquiry.
