Not many flight situations but plenty of fight situations... if you count them as verbal rather than physical.

some dude ran over another guy several times with his car over a simple dispute. i'd rather run over both than watch that..

I got mugged and beat up by some guys a few years back. They fled pretty quickly, but I spat on them while they did.

So... I don't know where that falls. But I was proud.

If you mean literally, then yes I have a few times and I always choose flight. I fear death far too much.

If you mean the weird option we have on mobile phones now, then no. I have no idea what "flight mode" does so I've never turned it on.

Yes. I remember pretty well even though it was a few years back.

On the way back from a night out a couple of guys asked if I had weed (at that point in time maybe I looked like a cannabis dealer), at the time they threatened to beat me with the a-rame style sign they were carrying. I stood frozen, unbelieving for a couple of seconds then found myself running, no thought process, I picked up the action when it was time to decide on the direction, home or elsewhere. Cannot remember making a decision to run or hide

Whenever you're 5'6 and barely 120lbs, the "fight" option is basically faded out, like picking the last stage in a new video game.

As someone who lives around coyotes and apparently the occasional mountain lion, the response has always been run, with humans, it's always been run.

I got into one legitimate fight when I was 19(recently, lol) and it was at my old job with some bitch making up shit about me because I(accidentally) ended her relationship with her boyfriend.

I can steal men without even trying, apparently.

Went hiking and came up on a hornets nest. One stung me and I got my ass out there. I ran as fast as I could. So yes to flight.

Ouch, that must've hurt a lot. Were you okay after that?

...Thank God I only got stung by a bee once on the foot when I was little, had no shoes on at the time by the way, but never by any wasps or hornets.

It did hurt initially. It stung me on the neck and the area where it stung me was pretty tender to touch. The pain went away after like a day. I was lucky I only got stung once because there was a lot of them!

To be honest, getting stung on the foot sounds more painful.

Damn, well at least you healed after a day or two. I can't exactly remember how long it took me to heal. Then again I have the best immune system out of my family, it probably lasted the same length as you did, and I'm not too sure how upset I was at the time.

Yeah I was fortunate to heal fast. I imagine if you have the best immune system, then you healed rather fast. Well this happened when you were little, so I imagine you would've been pretty upset.
