I watch from the sidelines if it interests me enough

Depends on the problem. If it's a petty argument then no, If someone's in visible danger yes, I'll do whatever is possible within reason.

If they've earned my respect, then yes. Otherwise if it's just a random persons problems, or someone I don't know too well, then it's not my place. Everyone deals with things. As for those close to me, if I can relate, then I will. If not, then I'll listen to what they have to say. I'm a pretty empathic person.

What do I get out of it?
Posted 12/13/15
Nope. I generally mind my own business unless they ask for help.

Yes because the world needs people who will go out of there way to help others.

You don't need a reason to help someone after all ^^

The satisfaction of being a good human being and knowing you have helped or changed the life of someone.

You don't need a reason to want to help people

If they asked me for help, I will try to help them the best I can. If they didn't ask for my help... I might depending on whether or not I think I can help out much. Also, it's rude to butt into other people's business especially they don't even want your help in the first place so I try to make sure I'm not being rude or offending anyone. This problem can be easily solved by simply asking, "Do you need help?" or "Are you okay?"

In all honesty no idea. I would say I would try to help them but then if they dont ask well probably wouldnt. So I guess 50/50?
