well it was certainly the big bang and that is more or less proved. now how that happened is the question was there a god that did it or not who knows?

It doesn't matter, it's done and there's no turning back in this lifetime.

I think the big bang is close to the truth but it is impossibel determine it as a singular big bang or several big bangs occuring when the particles have acummelated enough weight to eventually burst.
I think the universe is older than what is thought, and big bangs may have occured beyond the reach of light.(so to speak it being so far away that is beyond billions of light years.), but nonetheless finitive to a point.

The idea that matter cannot be created or destroyed is a fallacy when considering the origins of everything that we know. At some point, it had to be created. It can't always have existed, because what happened before that? That's why it describes the laws of physics as we know them today, maybe they were different in the far past?

I personally feel that our thought process is constrained by three dimensional thinking, and the inability to see beyond "the big bang."

But ask yourself how long that written word has actually been around. 600 years or so? Hardly really a long time. There many works of literature, art and music that are a lot older. Why can't the creators of those other things be just as likely to have created the universe as this God person?

And what besides this written word itself proves it was written by God? I don't think it's wise to trust the word of something that has little if anything else to back up its validity.

But you put it out there as a question. I'm just answering a question, thought I'd be helpful, not trying to be serious or anything.

I always figured that the Universe is just floating dust in this big empty area and at some point, some of the dirt started to chemically react to each other and stuff happened afterwards

The universe is a three dimensional event horizon around a collapsed fourth dimensional star.
