Soo eh i was browsing Twitch yesterday and I came across this streamer who look too anime-ish. Realized that he is using a program called FaceRig and it just released it's new downloadable module that let people put their facial expression to anime characters.

Main Program

Anime Character Module

Since it is an anime and sold on steam i figured it sort of fit in the gaming section.

Oh you have not seen it before now?
well its been a while also I suggested for the devs to be able to use it for cutscenes etc.
or a visual novel if one would like (but then it also would be lovely with snap settings) so you have more clean movements saved like an S insted of z movement. or U to V (less path "nodes" but more clear so if something offsetting where you wanted it would make it more simple and straight)

oh that's a pretty cool thing. Something like this would be great if it could be applied to VR too.

I would imagine only a few years before it can be applied to both VR and AR.

Whoa! This is exactly the kind of potential I saw out of Live2D when I first saw it in development. Very nice!

I already had FaceRig on my radar but now that Live2D is usable I would really like to try my hand at making a custom rig. Live2D really does bridge the gap between 2D and 3D and solves many issues. Animating turns in true 2D is a pain in the ass.
