Actual answer, my nightmares involve drowning for some reason even though I'm a very fast and capable swimmer.

Or getting ran down by coyotes, even though I'm a very fast and capable runner. Heh.

This made me LOL you seriously need to write a book or something cause these things you come up with are incredibly outrageous

If you think that's fun, you would absolutely adore my YouTube channel. My do short skits like that all the time!

I would share it, but we both know the heinous manginas and cunts would have malice on their minds if I were to share it here.

I've had this recurring nightmare for years:

In the dream, I'm running from somebody outside at night, terrified of them. I run across a parking lot that keeps getting longer.
(At this point, the dream splits. Each time after the first, I have been aware that "this has all happened before," so it changes at this point because I can learn from past mistakes. I don't realize it's a dream though.)

The first time, I reach a building and I go up the stairs, which go on forever, until I finally slow up. I wake up startled right before I'm caught.
After the first time, I run into a forest instead of a building at that point. Again, the setting keeps going on, until I tire. I'm scared awake the moment I'm caught.

Typical dream, right? I guess it plays on a subconscious fear of being alone...

I've also had a dream that I was part of the Hunger Games. The setting was my old house and I had to protect my siblings since my parents had already died (really gruesome, that).

Another typical movie one: I was in the Coraline story. (If you've never seen the movie, you won't get it.) This and the last dreams I both had while in elementary school. Now that stuff doesn't bother me in the least.

My mind gave the Raptors from Jurassic Park space ships and the Space Pope from Futurama as a leader. They colonize planets, spreading their religion by shoving people into giant plastic eggs three people to an egg until they convert.

I dreamt that as I walked out of a cafe, two men grabbed me and shoved me into the boot of their car. I banged loudly on the car and screamed but no noise would come out. And soon it felt like I was running out of air. It really did feel like I was suffocating until I fell out of bed and woke up

Reminds me of when you're about to die in a nightmare and then you instantly wake up.

I have a lot of nightmares where I'm paralysed on the floor in the dark and there's a slowly increasing sound of running steps, as whatever is making the sound comes closer the sounds become very loud and I close my eyes out of fear and then the dream ends.

All the time. I don't even think they're nightmares to me anymore. Things trying to kill me and I can't run. Car crashes, demons, serial killers, blah blah. I remember some of the more vivid ones. Sometimes they're so sad I wake up crying.

I think my worst nightmares were from my childhood when I had sleep apnea. Has anyone experienced sleep paralysis? It's fucking terrifying.

yes it was completely terrifying trying to force yourself to move and cant. cant even scream or anything.

The nightmares I remember are all things that I experienced in real life

Watching someone die a very messy, slow death will do that.

I've watched several people die.

All my nightmares come from real life.
