In theory AAA games should be better but I find myself rarely finding more than 10 hours of enjoyment out of generic AAA games. Games started out Indie I'm not saying they should stay like that but I think a lot of the passion for game development is gone.

AAA. There are people who held attachment to "Pong"-like games, but I'm not one of them.

I like innovation, I accept change, and I move on from my nostalgia. FF7 looks like shit to me.

Mate you're old enough that I find a statement like that the stupidest thing I've read here yet..and I read Magical Souls bullshit. FF7 was a triple a game of it's time, and remains one of the most expensive Final Fantasy's produced to date. The fact you would compare Ps1 tech to what's currently available now means you ain't no gamer and should shut the hell up about the topic.

I agree and today's AAA games don't even give you the same amount of fun or magic as in previous gens. This generation of gaming still has it's hands up in its ass when it comes to making better games.

I don't care that much as long as they're good, but the indie side of things usually ends up producing more stuff that I like. That's not to say that there aren't a ton of terrible indie games, though.

I enjoy a lot of indies and I enjoy some AAA games. But those few some that I do enjoy tend to be really fun and addicting. Smash Bros being a prime example.
