Welcome to this small little forum section where we will discuss what our favorite anime or manga of 2015 is. I'll be sure to create another one for 2016 around June or so so be sure to tune in for that! So far my most enjoyable anime, although going a little mainstream here is One-Punch Man, and the manga is even better! Apart from that I'd have to go with Akagami no Shirayukihime and even Rokka no Yuusha. I frankly did enjoy Dungeon ni Deai wo Mo,tomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka, and also loved Haikyuu!! First and Second Season.. Tell me your thoughts on what your favorite anime was or is and or maybe might be in the future if you're reading a manga and thing it'll get serialized.

I'm pretty sure we already have a "favorite anime of 2015" thread (I'll post the link once I find it). So I've moved this to the Manga forum and have modified the title to say "What is your favorite manga of 2015."

I think my favorite is One Punch Man (and yes, for both manga and anime).

ETA: Here's the link to the anime thread I mentioned. I know it says "best" but in my experience these are close enough to the same when most people make their lists that it doesn't make sense to have separate threads for "best" and "favorite."

Well, Oh My Goddess just finished its English distribution run, and it was one of my first, so I'll have to vote it as one of my favorites for this year as well. Mecha and magic, various mythos and crazy hijinks.. good stuff all around. And it ended.. um.. spoilers so I can't say anything more.

I've also been surprised by Sweetness and Lightning, here on CR! /comics/manga/sweetness-and-lightning/volumes. Definitely new to me, new author, found because I happened to be looking through the manga available here.

UQ Holder was less of a surprise - I very much enjoyed Love Hina, was meh on Negima, but I was willing to give it a whirl because of the known author. Also on CR - /comics/manga/uq-holder/volumes

One Piece had a lot of epic stuff this year.

Magi was great this year as well.

I'll say both One Piece and Magi were my favorites this year.

I think the one that blew me away most was Orange, closely followed by Pandora Hearts, Kamisama Kiss and Cat Paradise.
I loved the complexity of Pandora, the charm of Kamisama and the creativity of Cat Paradise, but Orange really touched my heart. And on the subject of Orange, the live action was recently released in Japan, so I'm excited about that too!!

Don't know of too many manga that started in 2015 that were also licensed in English in 2015, since I only read the official releases, but here are some of my favorites that i've read this year:

Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma. Gotta make sure i'm full before I read Shonen Jump every Monday thanks to this series :)
Handa-kun. Very funny prequel to Barakamon. Love the facial expressions.
Your Lie in April. Thought I wouldn't like the manga as much since the music helped move the anime along, but just playing the music recommended in the manga helps a lot and the art is fantastic.
