Post Reply Odd Methods of Getting a Workout

I used to run in the dead of winter in shorts. wearing a Heavy Jacket. Running like for 2 hours or something. Sometimes I wear boots. But before I did that. I did intense fast spaced exercises. Moving to a new exercise every 1 or 2 minutes. For one or two hours. Something like that. Then I did the running.

Edit Ranwolf will probably kill me if he knew I loss weight and gain muscle mass by drinking mountain dew drink and eating junk food.

I didn't even diet and lost half my weight. Even gain a lot of muscle mass in the legs.

run on the treadmill and watch episodes on my phone I usually can do 3.5 miles per episode.

i used to breach the limits of pain when i was learning iron fist i would keep punhcing the walls and my bag till after my knuckles bled even though thats the time one has to take a breather . but now no matter how hard i hit the wall my knuckles dont bleed i dont even feel any 'real' pain just an annoyance . Dont even know why people still use gloves on bags to protect their knuckles . Also i used to kick small trees to strenghth my legs and perfect my muaj thai kick even though one of my teachers was strongly against it . said i may break my shins. i prob did alot of other unorthdox things to but dont really want to jot everything down here

Also, because the guy above mentioned something similar.... body hardening techniques.

There are a number of body hardening techniques that require you to either strike with or take strikes at certain areas of your body. After a while your nervous system will be trained to withstand pain. Some of it is physical, and some of it is mental.... the bad part about the physical part is that it actually can cause permanent nerve deadening if not practiced properly or taken to extremes.

Usually though, body hardening techniques are only effective as long as you continue training in them, and you will usually go back to your normal wimpy self, if you stop. Just like most exercise.

rite now iam training in manipulating dark energy ive taken up smoking a pack of ciggaretes every day but i only inhale the smoke and dont exhale it . as in i kind of eat the smoke. According to my sensi it used to be practiced on an open fire back in the day but now ciggarestes have substitued it . Its a high level technique and ive taken a break from normal martial arts to master this art training at a minimum level with weights and fists . It works though i rem when i took the test for it and pushed one of two guys who were inquiring as to what i was doing walking around at 2 - 3 am at night . of them was holding a kalshinkov but they both froze up even though i was alone and they were police officiers here in griemy asia . i even kept taunting them while i walked away casusally my dark energy had gripped them so they couldnt even say anything back.

I used to wear ankle and wrist weights. 5 pounds each, so that was 20 extra pounds. I'd feel so fast and free whenever I removed them. I stopped wearing them in college and I misplaced the weights. If I can find them again, I'll resume. It's not good to go running with ankle weights on so I won't be doing that. Just wearing them constantly is helpful, though.

I also do at least 200 pushups a day. It's a simple exercise with good benefits and no required gear. Once you develop the habit, it is mindless. Two years ago, when I was at my unhealthiest, I could barely do 30 pushups without straining. Now I can do 60+ in a row. I'm trying to work my way back to 100 in a row, what I was able to do at my peak. I'm increasing the strain by wearing a weighted pack. The pack is currently 20 pounds but I'm not in a rush to get buff. I don't want to, actually. I just want to be fit.

There was a time I used a 10 pound sledgehammer to strike a large tire over and over again from various angles with various grips. I think someone called it the thundergod routine or something. I didn't know it had a name but I was doing it to develop the muscles I needed to wield a sword. This was back when I was doing kendo.

I've lifted weights before but dislike doing it. I was able to bench press a little more than my own weight last time I did it, which is said to be good, but I dislike the feeling of lifting. I'd rather just do convenient, equipment-free exercises.

My method is wearing 275 pounds of weights throughout my body.

I started with just 2.5 pound weights on my ankles, wrists, and one around my hips. After about 2 years I got used to the weight, however being used to the weight was not the reason for wearing the weights, the reason is when you take them off, which results in extra strength and speed.


It's a rather lesser known method of training/workout, and given how far I took it, I'd consider it an odd method of training.

haha thats not me iam older and he cant just want to turn supersaiyan with out any mental and physcial training hes gotta breach the limits of the mind and of a standerd humans physicality as well as testing himself in life and death situations . also i wouldnt ever put up a youtube video. Masters of the high level arts dont normally show themselevs to the real world i wonder if any will in modern times . i wonder if theyll ever set up a dojo and teach . i know 4 high level masters and theres always 4 in the world for each art the first being the strongest in the chain and the next 3 being below him but equal in strenght.
