Just viewed the crunchyroll email on my phone about Asterisk War and about half way down all the text read:
Cupcake ipsum dolor sit amet. Carrot cake bear claw gingerbread lemon drops. Gingerbread gummies caramels dragée topping tiramisu bonbon. Caramels halvah dessert powder pie sweet dragée macaroon.

Anyone else get this?

Oh my god I saw that in my emails too. When I saw it I was thinking about asking my friends if they got that email too. My guess is that they sent out a draft version of the actual email.

Magazines do this too. They'll use strings of latin or nonsense (or latin nonsense) as "filler" text for the purpose of layout planning, indicating that a brief blurb that hasn't yet been written should go in a certain place on the page.

It was probably sent out by mistake. I didn't take the time to read it since it went strait to trash.

Websites and companies usually use a string of words in latin to fill out something before they take the time to fill out that something with, well content like text. I have a website and I use latin nonsense all the time when I test out new features and re-work the website.
