I have been using the iOS version of Crunchyroll on my iPad as my main source of entertainment. This has been going on for quite a while now until last night.
I was watching an episode when I decided to turn the device off and charge it for the night. When I turned it back on, the message keeps appearing, "Error: The request timed out." I waited for 10 minutes and then tried to open the app again. But the problem still persists.

Can anyone help me out here? Thanks!

Is it just one episode you are trying? Usually new episodes take a couple of minutes-hours to load on mobile devices. If so it's probably fixed by now.

Is it all episodes? I would run a speed test (download Speedtest.net from the App Store.) If your Ping is high or your download speed is low that could be causing issues. Might have to restart your router/modem or talk with your service provider.

Also, when you said you waited 10 minutes to open the app, I would also try force quitting the app too. If that doesn't work you can uninstall and reinstall from the App Store.
