Viz Media has the license for it, so I would expect them to release it to home video in some capacity in the coming months after it finishes.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha series. first 2 seasons are almost impossible to find, or ridiculously expensive, and there was no US release for StrikerS.

Seconded. I was hoping the Japanese Blu-ray boxes would at least have English subtitles (since the movies did), but no such luck.

Even at $326, the StrikerS Blu-ray box is a bargain compared to the older individual Japanese DVDs.

it's a damn shame... I would buy all the BD box sets if they had the english subs on them like the movies did. I love the movie sets.

Princess Mononoke, it's available, but only on blu ray when i saw it. alas i don't own a blu ray player so why pay more for a disk i shan't use? sure I know others with blu ray players but none that would actually watch the aforementioned film.

Unless you are still sporting an old CRT TV, you really should look at getting a Blu-ray player, as they aren't expensive. I paid less than $35 for the Samsung unit I have.

I guess I'm intimidated by the filtration process. It started with all the anime we bootlegged over the decades filtered by those worth getting on DVD and those Idon't already have on DVD; and to start on blu ray I'd have to start with anime I don't already have on dvd

I want a U.S. release of the entire Higurashi series. Alas, that may never happen.

Alas I had never heard of or seen that series, sorry. But I know the feeling like as I had said: I really want "Gegege no Kitarō" (series & films). I do hope within a year (or two) it would get a North American DVD release. But someone said: "Some people just don't understand because they think the show won't cater to North American viewers". And I was like "Awww!" I was also told "...every time you watch a Kitarō series on YouTube or something, you vote for no official release. Every viewing on one of those videos sends a message to companies. They check those things And every time you watch one you are letting them no that you don't support an official release."

Nana and Madoka Magica, most anime i watch i'm glad i did but i only buy ones i'll rewatch. i've boughten many anime before joining CrunchyRoll i'm kicking myself for buying because i watched it once and put it away to collect dust. [Claymore for example] it is nice having a hard copy to lend out or rewatch, but i haven't seen many anime recently i would buy.

That was part of a package of Sunrise titles licensed by Sentai, so assuming Sunrise actually gets around to delivering the materials one day, you should get your wish.

The one anime I'd buy if it ever came out on DVD is Wonder Three by Osamu Tezuka. Unfortunately I maybe one of the few people who even remembers this anime exists.

Tamayura, Tamayura Hitotose + OVA, Tamayura: More Aggressive + OVA, and the 4 Tamayura movies. Blu-Ray preferably.

Monster Musume. Again Blu-Ray please.

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? Both Seasons.

I'd have said Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun if it wasn't already coming out on Blu-Ray... and pre-ordered...

Sentai Filmworks has them both. They have stated they would even do a Collector's Edition for MonMusu if fans demanded it enough on their social media.
