Hmm. Quick(and possibly stupid) question; When dreams become vividly real, is it possible to hear them as well?

I believe that's what is called a lucid dream.

Actually, I believe lucid dreaming is when you are aware you are dreaming. Sometimes you can control them.

I don't know if there is a technical term for vivid dreams, but my doctor wasn't concerned at all by my very regular and extremely vivid dreams.

Yes. I have had several accidental lucid dreams, but was only able to control the dream in one where I was flying. My control lasted for only a moment in the dream, and I woke up, though.

Tried to do it on purpose. There are some techniques that supposedly help. They never worked for me.

I will say that the brief moment in which I controlled my flying around like superman was one of the coolest in my life. So, I'd love to do it on purpose.

To address OP.

I wasn't aware that anyone could see dreams.

I watched that MLK Jr. speech video.... and he kept saying he had one, and described it in detail...but not once did he actually show it on camera, the tease.

I just wanted to know if blind people could see their dreams the same way I see everything around me.

Yeah, it was just a joke in good fun. The answer was already given, so I thought I could only add a bit more humor.
