How can we stop the rain from falling down?
Posted 12/20/15
I can think of younger days when living for my life was everything a man could want to do. I could never see tomorrow, and I was never told about sorrow, so I was wondering...

how do you mend a broken heart? How do you stop the rain from falling down, or the sun from shining? What makes the world truly go round? How would you mend broken men? How can losers ever win?

If you know, please help mend those with broken hearts and let them live again.

You don't, instead you learn to live with it, and then things change by themselves once you learn to accept them.

Idk. I try to be happy and I end up hurting someone, or I getting hurt. I try not to be lonely but I am just not "human" enough. I'd consider myself a loser, I mean a winner is the guy who isn't sad, or at least sometimes. I don't mean to be depressing but I understand how you feel man. I post on CR just to try to make friends but I never really try to or I can't. To stop the rain, you can't really, you just have to continue on your life. It sucks. Life sucks tbh.

The rain always falls as the sun always shines, each take their turn in nature, a dance that never ends. Each has its purpose, value and they complement each other. Hearts don't break they get injured, tend the wound and let it heal, a wound never heals if you keep picking at it.

I love warm showers. Sometimes, I take a mouthful and rinse. Makes me feel so purified, you know?

So you can also feel the breeze that rustles through the trees, and misty memories of days gone by?

Well, I'm not the best at mending anything.
(I'm a big baby who's never really fully gotten over anything.)

But I will try.

First things first; it’s ok to feel empty sometimes, it’s ok to submerge ourselves in the blues, and it’s ok to feel unhappy for a while. When a wave comes, go deep. Allow yourself time and space to feel it all. Create your own worlds and live in them for a while. Grow at your own pace. let it transform you. The only place to find solace is within yourself – you have the power to neglect the blue skies and to find the strength to help you heal. It’s ok to be selfish with yourself, at least for a little bit. We all deserve ourselves.

What’s important is to be conscious of your emotions. Realize that, regardless of how comforting it may feel, your sadness is not all you have. We grow so used to our chaos, and sometimes those who have lived in the dark for too long become afraid of the light. Do not hold your sadness to your chest like it’s something precious when it’s a rather ugly thing. Balance yourself – allow just as much light as heaviness, embrace your lights and your darks.

While life may not always feel like it’s offering you much, everything passes and nothing is permanent. Things are always moving and changing, so try not to get knotted up in the minute details and the smallest particulars of your life. You will pass through this, I promise you. Remember that each day you grow and sometimes it takes longer to bloom, but we all flower eventually. We just have to keep pushing towards the sunlight. Always be good to yourself even when the rest of the world is trying to bleed you dry. I'm sending you all the love in the world, if any of you are ever experiencing something you don't want to handle alone, I'm always availble to talk to. Just send a pm.
