If I sneeze too hard I'll end up with a bloody nose.

I had probably the most satisfying sneeze in my life earlier. Generally when I sneeze you would only hear the sneeze itself and not my voice, like some people make a little noise or something (I hope you understand what I mean by all this). This time was different however.
I have a slight cold and my nose was blocked and running a little when I woke up earlier.
So while I was going upstairs to get some tissues since my bedroom is in the basement and the closest box of tissues is upstairs in the main living room, my nose starts to burn a little and I feel an intense sneeze coming up. I stop walking up and even go back down a step to prepare to regain my balance if I lose it, and let this sneeze go.
I don't think I have ever made this sound in my life, even when I make wierd and random sounds out of nowhere (then again I often surprise even myself when I make those sounds). It sounded like a mix between Gollum from LoTR, a horse, and a jet engine. Was pretty friggin loud too.
Funny thing is, it unblocked my nose with a satisfying *pop* sound and somehow didn't spray all over the place, just needed to blow my nose a little afterwards.

Scared the living hell out of my cats though. The two of them were lying down at the top of the stair case.

I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who detects a musty odor after a powerful sneeze.

That's because you're smelling your own nose

Before my back surgeries, sneezing was fine. Afterwards, well, let's just say I don't have any shock absorption for explosive sneezes. I have to brace myself so I don't hurt myself. Though it doesn't work every time. And you can imagine how painful it is when your back is already in massive pain. Same thing goes for horror movies. Jump scares are equally painful.

The best kind of sneeze is when you look up at the sky and your eyes make contact with the sun, which triggers the biggest blast from your nose and throat. The relief after that is almost bliss.
