Just buy a monthly subscription it's not that expensive. Anyone that is over 18 should be able to afford something that is less than $10 a month

They aren't being denied it thought its a technical issue where if they 1.waited or 2. contacted customer support it would be fine.

Its more like ordering the free dessert and it takes awhile for it to arrive so you ask the waiter "hey I ordered he free dessert can you check on it for me?"
Waiter: "No problem!"

and then you get the dessert.

There's no guarantee customer support will actually care, but there's no guarantee they won't, either. The least people should do is give CR a reasonable chance to fix this

No, it's more like saying: "Come in for a free dessert!" And the manager says: "There's been trouble and it can't come just yet."

It's more to problem with corporate white knights. Crunchyroll themselves aren't saying anything, they're just incompetent as it's been over a week and it's not fixed.

The white knights are the ones shaming those just trying to redeem something they were promised(guest pass).

I honestly don't think any company enjoy the white knighting as it doesn't reflect their feelings at all.
