We all wouldn't be here if we didn't love anime. We all come from different ethnicity , different backgrounds, all ages and all genders.

What is it about anime that makes us love it so much. (or just like it)

I love anime because of its of its unique way of storytelling. The stories that so well told that i end up being emotionally invested in the characters. Its also pretty amazing how one anime can tap into several emotions. The artwork of many anime is also amazing.

I love how anything can go within the world and it looks "real to the character". The reason I don't like a lot of movies is because no matter how good the special effects are, it's still clear a lot of the time that it was done with computers. At least in anime, it's all art, so a character using some power doesn't look as cheesy as a special effect in a movie. That being said, live action movies still look pretty good. But it's a lot harder for me to blend the reality with the special effects. Knowing that something is fake in a 'real world' with real characters is kind of offsetting as opposed to something happening within a 'fictional world'.

I've always been a fan of animation because of the amazing amount of work it can be for artists to design each cell. That love carried over when my ex introduced me to anime. I love the art and I find it interesting to watch because I like picking up on some of the cultural differences.

It's lack of boundaries often placed on other animation.

It's a Love Live! fan art. Left is Minami Kotori and right Kousaka Honoka xp.
Edit: Read it wrong I think? You wanted to know character names or just the show?

Because it's beautiful (compared to most american animation) and carries a great story. It's also much easier to become invested in the characters and story because everything seems to go well together, as opposed to live action where it can often fall victim to bad acting and cheap sets/effects.

The creative stories never ceases to amaze me.

I watch things like the walking dead, or idk the big bag theory I am feeling bored within the first few minutes.
