Books that are like the "Night Angel Trilogy" or "Taiko" or "Yamada Monogatari: Demon Hunter" Something along the lines of those books? I love those.

I've also read "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and others. I'd have to go write them all down to even name them all, lol.

I'm sorry to say I've never read any of those, although Night Angel is on my to-read list. I used to always confuse the Night Angel Trilogy with this one in stores: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6547258-the-final-empire. There's so little books with white covers that they really stand out. I always wondered whether it was to appeal to the readers of the other series?

Nevertheless, being the fangirl I am, I can't read your request for good fantasy and not promote my two favorite books: The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2913377-the-name-of-the-wind and https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/127455.The_Lies_of_Locke_Lamora)

I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed if you give them a try!

I second Lynch and Rothfuss. Locke Lamora, in particular, has a similar "urban-decay" setting to the Night Angel trilogy.

Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn is brilliant. (Hell, almost everything by Sanderson is brilliant.)

Robin Hobb's Assassin's Apprentice is one of the things that clearly inspires the Night Angel Trilogy:

Anthony Ryan's Bloodsong is a nice, well-told, bloody fantasy tale:
