- C14 Timberwolf chambered in .416 PGW
- Colt Delta Elite ( stainless steel ) chambered in 10mm Auto
- M1 Garand ( my first gun and probably my least liked ) chambered in .30-06 Springfield of course
- SKS ( damn fine rifle, Soviet engineering at it's finest ) chambered in that dirt cheap 7.62x39mm
-Type 99 long rifle ( you don't want to know what it cost to restore her to firing condition ) chambered unfortunately not in her native 7.7x58mm but 7.62 NATO, you just can't find 7.7x58mm anymore
-Kar98k Sniper Variant ( complete with original and may I say useless Zeiss scope, even still has her Nazi markings. I have no idea how those markings survived import and registration ) rechambered in 9.3x64mm Brenneke cause it's easier to hand load.

So yeah I have a few rifles and one pistol for shits and giggles, no shotguns cause there isn't anything a shotgun can do a rifle can't. Save duck hunting and only lazy slackers duck hunt. Give me a bear, or a pissed off bull moose, that's the only prey a real hunter goes after. Ya know game that can kill ya if you ain't paying attention.

It's not an ammo problem, the .30-06 Springfield is an adequate round for what I use it for, mainly target shooting and some light hunting. It's the fact the whole rifle is balanced wrong for anything then that mid range combat it saw in world war 2. And to scope the thing I'd have modify it too heavily for my taste.

The thing just feels wrong in my hands. I've often thought about selling her but she was a gift from my now dead adoptive father in addition to being my first gun.
