Heyo forums, it's been awhile.

Anyways, as the title says, I'm getting an

"Error

Sorry, an error occurred"

whenever I try to view the release calendar. It's troublesome as I use the calendar to keep track of everything that airs (since the update tab doesn't update till hours after sometimes). I could use other sites, but I have the memory of a goldfish, so the calendar is the easiest method.

If anyone knows of a way to fix this error, help is very much appreciated. If not, someone fix the site pls.

Also, Happy Holidays, ya'll.

Hm, that sounds really weird. You mean /simulcastcalendar, right? It seems like it's working for me (Windows 8, Chrome browser, everything up to date). If you're on another link or browser, could you let me know? I've got a bunch of options here to test under, might help track this down.

ETA - I have heard rumors of attempted DDOS attacks against various sites during the holidays because they know most people will be on vacation. So far CR is working just fine for me, but.. still worried that someone will hit here like they did last year.

Yes, it's the /simulcastcalendar. It was working for me up until a half a month-a month ago. I'm using Windows 8 and Chrome. I've tried Firefox and Explorer too, both also getting the error. Everything is up to date.

Quick Edit: I've also tried deleting my cache. Also didn't work. :X

Hmmm.. okay, still hunting for clues on this, but while we're doing that, could you try using /contact and report it to support that way? The email they get that way will automatically include more details about your connection and such. It will take a few days for them to get back to you, but this could be something we can't diagnose in the forums..

Continuing on, do these work, or do they give the same error for you?
/simulcastcalendar?filter=free
/lineup

My best guess at this point is that it's something about the display code for the simulcast times messing up, which both the free and premium pages use, but the lineup doesn't. Not sure if he's around for the holidays, but I'll ping Beardfist on this as well - he's awesome at finding/fixing CR site problems.

Speaking of which, do you have his extension installed? If you've got it, try disabling it and visiting those pages, and if not, could you try installing it? I completely forget sometimes that I've got it installed, and could be impacting your error message (or my lack of one).

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner on this as well - if you use the quote link on my post, I'll get a notification and see replies quicker I hope!

Thanks for the help. I'll send a report in later today when I got some free time.

Free calendar doesn't work. Line up works.
Didn't have the extension installed, and installing it didn't fix it. :(

Luckily this season is pretty much over, so I don't have to watch a lot of animes for a good week or two until 2016 Winter gets all set up and whatnot. xD
