I use my computer, Wii U and Nvidia Shield all for watching Crunchyroll. I noticed a couple of days ago on my Shield the order of shows on my queue was in the incorrect order, reverse to be precise(One piece was first and now last, etc). I checked my computer and Wii U and the order on neither of them has changed it has only effected my Shield. I have attempted logging off and back on, restarting my tablet, and reinstalling the app. I did not see any other posts on this issue.

Thank you for your time.

I think its meant to be like that, its putting the newer things in your que to the top and the older things to the bottom I think its for convenience.

I would hope not, or if that's the case it's at least made consistent across all platforms.

I can confirm this on the CR app for Android. The things that are on the top of my queue on the website are on the bottom of the queue in the app. It's not newer things first, rather, it's all the older things that I save at the bottom of my queue (I keep old shows there in case new seasons come up) that are now at the top. Moving between multiple devices, you'd really expect the apps to respect the order that you've set it in the website. After all, you set the order up yourself.

Thanks for posting this! I've been wondering about this issue for a while but never found a reason/solution. I'll also confirm this is happening on CR in Android and all the steps mentioned above did not change the queue.

Was this an update or did we change a setting somewhere? Either way, I would love to see a resolution.

This was the response I received when I contacted support about this issue:

Hi,

It appears that is something we implemented in the latest update , due to the request of Android users.

I don't like that the queue is different on different platforms. If I add a new show, it goes to the top of the queue on PC and Roku but to the bottom on Android. How is that in any way a reasonable or convenient thing that "android users" requested?

Edit: For reference, this happens on multiple Android devices and even after re-ordering the queue and resetting the app and installing clean it still occurs so it's definitely a service setting not a phone/account setting. If "Android Users" requested this then I suggest "Android users" comment here if they want it changed back.

We'll be addressing the queue ordering in the next update.

Your answer seems more plausible so I assume it's true compared to the other response I received from Crunchyroll.

Jesus L.'s answer felt like a brush off answer and he ignored my follow-ups about it. That made me unhappy with Crunchyroll as a company for the first time in the 5+ years I've been a member.

@insomnic

Yeah. Sometimes the customer service folks don't seem to know what they're doing. Anyway, I did file a bug report about it around the time I replied to this thread. It took me two emails to get it straightened out with the rep that I wasn't providing feedback but filing an actual bug report. She eventually forwarded the report over to the dev team, and I got this back today:
