Jaize Grisel Riselle
Jaize was roaming the hallways before school, his staff in hand. He leisurely made his way to the cafeteria, peeking inside to smell the food being prepared for the early comers. He then slipped down to the coed rooms, excited to meet his new roommate for the school year, and possibly years to come. His crystal blue eyes fluttered, his fluffy pure white hair bouncing with each step he took. His pale snow white skin gleamed with the peaks of sunlight that fled into the hallways from the windows, as the morning sun was coming up. He stepped in front of his new room, a huge grin on his face. His heart pounded in his chest, as he slightly adjusted his deep blue hoodie. 'A new year, a new school.' He thought, as he nodded in agreement to himself. He took a deep breath, before taking out his dorm key, and unlocking the door, swiftly opening it with a slight creak. With newfound determination... he stepped inside to face his new room and possibly, his new roommate.

JULIAN - FREE TO QUOTE
"I can't believe myself," the boy mumbled to himself as he stared at the front gate of Sicry Academy. Julian Ambrose, age 16 and with the bare bottom education possible under his belt. He had been living off the streets doing odd jobs to obtain money to survive but not once in his life had he thought he would be enrolled into such a prestigious school.

"I was just lucky... just lucky," he continued to mumble, his back hunched forward folding inward. "Lucky that I wasn't kidnapped!"
What was he thinking a few days ago when he met a strange woman. She said that he would have a better life if she went to this address... out of pure curiosity, he gave her his name and went to the place. For all he could have known, he could've been kidnapped then sold off as a slave or even to work as a street performer.
"This sucks, I'm going back..." he said turning around, but then realized he had no where to go back to and simply slumped onto the ground. "I'll just stay here and wither away..."

 Hal + Maeve
At a close proximity to the school a fairly tall female was in a black military uniform with a red cape distinctively indicating she was a student at the academy. She was currently sweating, not because of the heat but because of the frustration that was continuously swelling up inside of her.

The reason for her troubles had been the person who was being dragged by her. Unlike the girl he was wearing light weighted armor, with the Asrean insignia inscribed on the chest plate indicating he was part of the royal militia. Being slightly taller than the female, the man was quite the hassle for her to drag towards the academy. On the contrary to the others mood, the male had only looked slightly amused, and asked.

"So, may I ask why my dear sister are you taking me to the academy? I'm pretty sure I've already graduated, plus, if I remember correctly I'm on patrol duty at noon." As he said this they were already past the school gates.

With the other's question she could only sigh. "Didn't I already tell you? The headmaster told me that she had a favor to ask you." Although she knew of her own brother's capabilities best, she still couldn't find why the headmaster wouldn't ask her instead of him. Especially when it was more convenient for her since she was a student while the other had already graduated a couple years.

"Ah, the headmistress wants a favor? I wonder what that might be~" Hal mused, his interest piqued. After all the headmistress was one of the few who were worth his respect. Heading towards the headmistress' office he entered and sent a wave towards Maeve, and in a playful tone said. "Well, I guess you should head off to the dorms or something to get ready for the school year."

She kept up her smile and waved back, nodding. Once the door closed in front of her did she gradually reveal her frown. Her hands slowly balled up into fists as she replayed the other's playful tone and thought dejectedly. *Ah, no matter how many times I see him I just don't get it.*

After spending a minute of two in front of the door she soon went her own way towards the dorms, where she had hoped to find some sense of importance there.
Upon entering the office he saw a familiar figure sitting behind the desk. As if it was natural he took a seat on the chair in front of her and casually greeted her, before getting straight to the point. "Hey headmistress, it's been awhile since hasn't it~ I wonder what brings has had you to bring me here? If you don't know I'm quite a busy man now."

Taking a good look at him the lady with blue hair just sighed. "Really after all these years it seems like you haven't changed at all." Taking a sip of tea she gave him the answer to his question. "...I want you to become a temporary teacher here at the academy."

"Hey didn't I tell you I was busy?"

"I know, but it's just once a week, and I'd be even willing to pay you more than what they do in the royal militia. Of course it won't be forever, just until we find a replacement for the field training class."

"Why me again?" He asked cautiously, the pay had slowly reeled him in, but he was still reluctant. After all, teaching sounded like a pain.

"Who else but you? Everyone else is busy with their own goals, and even among your peers you always had excellent results. Besides, I've already gotten permission from your parents." As soon as she said this she threw a letter on the table. Taking it he read it, his frown growing bigger by the second. Once he was done he glared at the headmistress and asked. "Why are you doing this? I thought you knew about my situation."

Feigning innocence, she shrugged. "Now don't give me that look. All I did was what I thought would be best for my students."

Seeing how the other was not planning on taking seriously, he let out a defeated laugh. "Really, I always never know what goes on around your mind." Ready to leave he got up and opened the door. "Well I guess I'll go along with you for now. But if it becomes a waste of my time I'll quit, remember that ok?"

Going out of the office whistling, he realized that he needed to go on his daily patrol soon. As he was walking out he saw something on the ground and stared at it. Upon further inspection he deduced it was a kid around his sister's age. Looking down at the kid he wondered why he was like this, but it was not like he had time for it right now, and bluntly said. "Hey, i know you want to wither away and all, but can't you do that somewhere else? You're blocking my way."

JULIAN & HAL
At the sound of the blunt voice directed at him, Julian felt a shiver down his spine and immediately sprang up to his feet. Unconsciously, he moved behind the school gate and his behind it before looking at the person who was talking to him.
"S-scary..." He mumbled after looking at the other's face, the eyepatch was quite provoking for the exilian. It reminded him of the Pirates he used to read in books as a kid.
"I'll... go wither away somewhere else, then..." He looked around and had an unsure look on his face. There wasn't any familiar areas around here.

"I'll just leave..." The boy with the school uniform decided to leave the gate, keeping a fair distance between himself and the man.

Judging by the others clothes he could tell he was a student here. Though with the others reaction he wasn't sure whether to feel annoyed as the obvious distance the younger put. It wasn't like some kind of disease, no need to back away that far. *Ah whatever, I'll just ignore him.*

Was what he originally planned but he didn't expect the student to leave the school gates. Isn't the whole point of going to school is to stay and learn? Not just leave. Moreover it was in the same direction he was going. He didn't like the fact that it felt like he was following him. Speeding up his pace it didn't take long for him to catch up to the other, and put a hand on the other's shoulder to stop him and asked.

"Hey you. Aren't you suppose to be going back to the dorms or something?"

Someone touched his shoulder-- and he screamed. "E-eeeeeeeeek!! I'm sorry, I didn't do anything wrong q///q!"
Extremely startled, Julian crouched down and covered his head on the brink of tears.

Jaize Grisel Riselle
Jaize looked around the room, as no one was inside. He put down his staff on a bed, and looked at his bags that were already there. He began to unpack, and as soon as he was done, he nodded in agreement. "Looks good." He sat on his bed, and polished his staff, holding it close to his chest.

The wind had picked up. The trees were shaking with the wind, as midnight came across. Jaize was frozen in place, looking up at the tall man who peered down at him. The tall man was grinning. But it wasn't that kind of grin... it was a sinister grin. A hand reached towards him, taking a grip on Jaize's head, gripping tightly as Jaize shook harshly. Tears streamed down his face, as Jaize could only stare in fear at the man.
"Remember this pain for as long as you live... Jaize."
A jolt of magic was forced into his body, as Jaize screamed out. Moments later, he was laying on the ground, the man looking down at him. He was still grinning. The man turned around, as if not knowing Jaize was still alive, and went off to another part of the castle. Jaize could only hear the screams of terror as he lay there, unable to move. That was when the man showed his face again, looking down at Jaize in pity.
"Jaize... They're all dead."
The man laughed, as if amused.
"I didn't get to play with them very much... but maybe with y--"
The man was cut off by Jaize's gaze at him. His body became corrupt, his eyes glowing gold. The man turned to escape, but Jaize gripped onto his leg, as words crawled from Jaize's hand onto the man's leg, slowly curling it's way to his neck.

Soon, the man was dead.

Jaize shuddered at the sudden memory of his past, slowly standing up, as he walked out of his room with a slightly pale complexion. "I need some air..." He muttered, as he walked. He bumped into a girl, as he stopped and looked at her. "... are you alright?"

Surprised he immediately took his hand back, and looked around to see if there was anyone else around. Last time someone balled in front of him he had gotten a beating from his old man after all. He was quite pissed about it for awhile since it wasn't even his fault. The other guy had started it, but in the end he was the only one reciprocated for punching him in the face.

He wasn't going to let that happen this time. After confirming no one was around he saw there was no need to sugar coat anything and grabbed the back collar of the guys uniform, easily lifting the other's face close to his, and glared. "Shut up will you?! Why the hell are you crying?!"

"Ack--" Forced away from his hunched position and staring straight into the scary man's face, Julian felt like a fawn that had just been found by a wolf. "Don't eat me!" He had the urge to scream that out loud, but didn't-- it would of been weird.
"I-I'm sorry!" He tried to bow his head, mainly to hide his face from him, but he couldn't because of the other's grip on him. "I d-didn't mean to scream... m-my apologies." He was shaking like a leaf.

 Maeve
Midway towards the dorms she stopped for a moment, looked down, and closed her eyes. She then took a deep breath, trying to suppress her current anger. It had not been her irritation in dragging her elder brother. Rather she had been angry at her own self. *If only I was stronger...* Thoughts such as those began to creep up, but she shook her head, and slapped both of her cheeks to try to not think of such thoughts anymore. *No, no. I can't let it get to me. I...gotta work harder and train more.*

To keep her head from thinking anymore she decided to run full speed towards the dorms. After running her fastest speed without stopping for awhile until she reached the dorm her head had felt very light, and felt slightly dizzy. She had always somehow liked the feeling, her head felt like it had been cleared up, and that she had no worries. Times like this she normally gave a care free and stupid, according to her brother, smile.

After recovering her breath, her clothes needed changing due to the sweat she piled up. She really needed a shower, and started to walk towards her own dorm room until she bumped into someone. She was still a bit out of it due to her run so she wasn't able to apologize immediately. It took a moment for her to get back, being disciplined from a young age she immediately apologized. "Ah yea I'm alright. I'm really sorry I wasn't really paying attention to where I was walking."

"Hmm?" He let out dubiously not buying it. He had wondered why was the other so scared of him. Truthfully, he thought of himself as being fairly handsome. It was a first for someone to be so afraid of him upon first meeting, the other was even apologizing to him. Was it weird that he found it kind of amusing?

Keeping himself from smiling, he frowned. "...It's been bothering me for quite awhile now, but why is it that you're so afraid of me?" After saying this he attempted to pinch the other's cheek.

"Neither was I." Jaize said with a half-hearted laugh. He straightened up, and looked at his staff, and back at the girl.
"... I'm Jaize, pleasure to meet you." He said suddenly, as he pulled up his hood. "If you need anything, I'm in room 203." He turned back around, and decided to just go back to his room. He began to walk to his room, gripping his staff tightly.

"Anyone with a face like yours would be scary--" the boy accidentally said out loud. "Eep!" He covered his mouth.
Oh no-- I've done it. I officially am screwed. Julian started shaking again at the thought of the man getting angry at his words. He was sure that he was going to shred a few years off his future or something like that.

"I mean... that.. eye patch of yours.. brings... memories I would like to forget." He mumbled, his eyes darting in every direction out of fear.

Not quite sure what was really going on Maeve just stood there wide eyed trying to process everything. *Jaize Grisel Riselle? Why does that name sound awfully familiar...* Thinking about it for a bit, things soon began to tick as she took a closer look at him wide eyed. "...Jaize Grisel Riselle...Don't tell me...Prince Jaize?!"

Though she knew some royalty have and are attending this school, after all it was one of the reasons why she and her brother, and her parents had enrolled here. Since most of their family belongs to the second regiment of the royal militia it was better to make connections as early as possible. But...she had not expected this prince to be here. As most prince and princess' who come here just go because they have nothing else better to do. However, from her knowledge the prince in front of her was suppose to be running a province within the south, how could he possibly be here!
