What is your favorite type of anime?

I swear if that last option wins....

Epic/Battle filled

Tear/jerker feels would be second

Everything under those two is trash
(comedy is ok)

Epic battle/story, definitely. I don't like those onion-chopping ninjas.

supernatural rom/com.

I enjoy a bit of action, but not to the exclusion of everything else.

I don't care about the ecchi tag, as long as fan service does not destroy the plot/story.

I did... on purpose

Seriously though, it just needs to excel and push its genre somewhere different, while actually being good (difficult to pull off)

An example I'd say would be cowboy bebop; I dislike most sci fi for being cheesy and not very scientific or being scientific, but overbearing with lingo, but Cowboy Bebop nailed human society of the future so well.

A preferred genre? Comedy without the Rom-Com elements (Very rare, only one I've found was Sagebu! which had the psychopath known as Momoka) or Mystery (I'm iffy on Sakurako and Perfect Insider- are they good?) I liked Gosick and Hyouka which weren't full heavy on mystery so maybe "light mystery"?

I chose epic/battle filled but the real answer is so long as it's good; but use of the random but got me to watch more comedy. Though I cannot watch sports anime
Beautiful Bones was good, but I only watched the first episode of Perfect Insider

I hate that genre so much. It detracts from the story and cheapens an anime. Plus I don't like being teased; you go all the way or you go home!

Yea but hentai doesn't have very good production quality so ecchi tends to have the highest quality oppais (even though it's usually the only redeeming quality of the anime).

I like comedy and action. With ecchi thrown in.

There is so much ecchi hate here.
