Someone You Dislike Tries To Friend You On CR Or Have A Chat With You. What do you do?
Posted 12/27/15
There's not really anyone on here I dislike too much. I'd probably just accept since I accept all requests.

Same someone on the forum you dislike tries to friend you, or otherwise be friendly after saying say, a political opinion you highly disagree with. What would you do?

wait...we are all keeping social tabs on each other lol?

Add them, write an unnecessarily long message about why they are clearly wrong and why I am cleary right, while asserting my authority on every subject known to man.

If that fails..well,

There's very few things someone can do to get on my shit list. So there are few people I dislike. No ones done anything that would make me dislike them (on CR) so I'd just accept the FR and greet them. Also I don't dislike people for not agreeing with my opinions.

I just feel weird being friendly with people I considered bigoted, or seeing them around the threads where people are friendly with one another. I am like "seriously, you just said that and you expected the royal treatment?"

Note: This summary was an alternative to the "Your Friend Turns Out To Be A Bigot" thread.

If the only reason you aren't friends with someone is because they disagree with you, you don't have friends, you have yes men.

Yes men don't have opinions though.

It really depends on the stuff we disagree on. For example, I wouldn't accept someone who I'm definitely sure is homophobic and/or transphobic.

This is basically what I was talking about. Such issues are non negotiable for me.

Don't really accept people anymore.
If I know them and don't like them, I'll obviously reject.
Someone has actually tried this before... -__-

Accept them, I have many friends IRL that do not share my political view... So why should I care much about someone on a bloody forum
