So, my friend's brother has a band called Lion and Company that's pretty good. I haven't listened to too much of their stuff, but they do live shows in Atlanta.

They're trying to record an album in an actual studio so that their sound quality will go up so that they can sell CDs, get picked up, etc. To do that, they've started a Kickstarter to raise $5,000. So far, they only have about $1,000 and their goal needs to be reached by January 30th.

I'll post the link below so that anyone can check them out (they have home-recorded songs for you to listen to). If anyone wants to donate, I'm sure they would greatly appreciate it. Even if you don't want to donate, spreading the word would help too.

Thanks, guys!

As a forum poster, this isn't the place to post this. As a musician, I hope they get the success they want.

In all seriousness I hope it works out for them.

Not necessarily. You could be good and get zero views.

Lol incorrect. All it takes is some effort.

Effort is vague as fuck. You can put a shit tonne of effort into something and get nothing. It's about putting effort into the right things. Can't go far without making yourself known after all. Unless you're insanely lucky perhaps.

Learning to book your own gigs is very important. That being said it really all depends on your area and what type of music you play.

Anyway looked up the band guy was wearing a Mr. Meeseeks tshirt so good on him.
