the new year is coming, but before is come.
there were some great anime, from
the echi loving prison school,
take me to hell death parade, and
i m otaku lonely is it wrong to try and pick up girls in a dungeon?

animes that stood out, but theres episodes that made it
even better? from the dramatic, comical, to the shocking.

my taste goes to this summer anime Actually, I am.
episode #8 "let's save the world"

and jesus christ i have been hammering this episode for to long.
give prop to the studio, that came up with the theme,
I mean saving the world, from a meteor, just because
principal Akane want another taste, of nagisa afrodisiac cake,
that would make anybody go all food war porn.
starting with the great torture food scene by third act.
Seen Akari going all attack on titan on her sister Akane,
shoving every piece of food, that girls make, is the most
impresive and" i want some, what she having" take seen
in anime, specially the great prison school shot's,
and let not forget the armageddon references, from
the aerosmith sound, to the nasa station, were most
suspense come from. giving excuse that japan love
their michael bay movies, even theres no logic in 'em.

So that's my. whats ye favorite?
and thank for been awesome.

The last episode of HIbike Euphonium. Also the last episode of Your Lie in April. Also, shoutout to episode 2 of Kekkai Sensen.

Somebody somewhere is going to say what anime they love and somebody is going to be asshole them.
God Eater Episode 5 was fucking brutal. I haven't been this surprise since the HOLY shit Eren moment in Attack On Titan. The entire downhill (literally) battle at the end utterly annihilated any and all sense of resistance and fighting spirit, every and anything other than hope, that the opening sequence usually leaves you with. It was… truly catastrophic beauty o_o

I am quickly coming to realize this seems to be the job of quite a few CR posters. Kinda sad too.

Anyways to stay on topic I think my favorite of 2015 is episode 1 of School-Live! I totally wasn't prepared of expecting it. not only was it awesome and great art, but a total mind-job as well.

Actually I Am is my show of the year. So the finale is very high in my heart. We finally get to meet Yōko Shiragami's parents. Her mom is far more scary than the father. And while I liked ALL the characters my favorites were Akari and Akane Kōmoto.

For the fall I really enjoyed Shomin Sample and the finale was great too. It proved that for Kimito Kagurazaka the more things changed they stayed the same. I really enjoyed Mrs. Arisugawa in the episode.
I do hope both Actually I Am and Shomin Sample get more cours. I might thin up more favorites, but these two came to mind first.

To me The "I'm happy you feel that way about me" scene from Chivalry of a Failed Knight, hit high marks from me with how mature they handled that situation.

My personal favorite is Rolling Girls episode 8: After the Rain

As I said elsewhere, Rolling Girls was my favorite show of the year, and I think this was my favorite episode from it. The unique setting, the endearing characters (both the main cast and the one-offs), combined with the incredibly fun ending song "Stones" all just came together to make an episode that felt wacky, fun, and heartwarming.

After I watched this episode I said to myself: "This is something I could only get from an anime". And it seems increasingly rare that I can say that in a good way these days.

As an honorable mention, I'm going to say Wish Upon the Pleiades episode 8: Nanako 13.

Similar to the above, this was an episode I could only get from anime, but more than that, it was just incredibly.... sentimental? I guess. It felt kind of sad and lonely, but ended feeling happy and hopeful. It was a real emotional journey, just like the very interesting journey the character went on.

Actually, practically every episode of that show is a favorite of mine. I wish more people watched it.

I was going to say shokugeki no souma for year 2015 but then came along GATE, it blew me outta the water The thing is I had asked myself the same question when I was a kid, which they answered in the showed: "What happens if our present day tech were to clash with ancient tech, like el cid and the spanish invasions of central/southern america but more with drastic tech differences?" So yeah ancient tech would get their butts whooped but complete annihilation doesn't need to be the only outcome, especially when, in this case, the "gate" itself is not completely understood. So yeah the first two episodes of GATE really are my favorites of the year.
