Bushiroad revealed a new television anime and trading card game project titled Luck and Logic on Tuesday. The television anime will premiere on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS 11 on January 9, while the trading card game will ship on February 28, with three starter decks. Bushiroad also began streaming a promotional video for the anime, which reveals the anime's cast and staff.
In L.C. 922, people faced a sudden crisis.
In Tetra Heaven, the land of legend, a hundred years of war had come to a close. The gods who lost the war searched for a new place to live, and found it in Septpia, the human world, which they proceeded to attack. The Logicalists attached to ALCA, a special police agency whose duty it was to protect cities from assaults by foreigners (angels), were compelled to act in defense of cities, whether they wished to or not.
And depending on their ability, Logicalists could initiate trance with goddesses from the other world, and stand a fighting chance on the battlefield.
A civilian named Yoshichika Tsurugi, who lacked "Logic" and lived happily with his family, was caught up in an attack, and took shelter along with many people. He meets a beautiful goddess named Athena. In her hands, she had the "Logic" that Yoshichika lacked. Now both Yoshichika and Athena head to their destiny.

Thoughts on preview airing special:
Mainly a commentary about the characters and designs.
The series is based on a card game, which itself is a new franchise. Hopefully will be something interesting tbh. The guys behind the scenes seems to be excited about the show. There's actually quite a lot of cards and they are actually trying to push this into a competitive atmosphere. Nice.

I wish they'd do something I hope every tcg maker should do in this era.
Publish the game both as traditional format AND as digital game platform at same time.
There are lot of us who love card games, but rather than hunting local players or sitting in car for hours to go to tourney would just rather sit on computer and play a good card game online and we aren't shun investing as much money in it as "real" card players.
I personally do both and I believe Konami committed crime against humanity shutting out Yu-gi-oh! online and it's follow ups. ( why Japanese companies NEVER market these things on west, it's foolish, and then say they shut them down due lack of interest)
So, I'd hope someone would use that marketing hole, instead of the " max year lasting" indie card games that just give false hopes and lost dreams.
Looks interesting though, will absolutely watch the anime, thanks for the heads up, didn't know about this !

I'm closing this and will respond to your PM a bit later. In brief, when we discussed this earlier I meant it was okay to start threads with prescreenings if they were literally just a couple of days ahead of regular broadcast. When I allowed some earlier similar threads to stay I was unaware there would be so many.
This prescreening is more than a week before regular broadcast so I've closed it.
