Post Reply How do I stay up all night and day ?

Take small naps during the day and nighttime. This worked very well for me during a hard semester of Uni.

As a truck driver, it should be your priority to be well rested before taking on a job.

Yeah, you just stay up, but the best way is to resist the urge to sleep. It's easier to do this in the summer when the sun has been out longer, but in the winter, it's really tough to do.

So, I see a lot of folks making suggestions that completely ignore the OP's request "Without drugs" and have found it amusing to post, in addition to things like caffeinated beverages that many do not consider to be "drugs," illegal drugs. I've deleted those suggestions. Please don't make more of the same.

I agree with many who say the key is to be staying active and doing something. Really getting focused on something has worked for me in the past, although mostly I've never deliberately tried to stay up all night and all day.

The last time I've checked coffeine was still considered a drug. A legal one, but still. Just saying.

Oh I agree, which is why I mentioned it. Just more worthy of reminding people rather than outright deleting; the illegal ones got deleted though.

BE A MAN!

Honestly, just keep doing something mentally or physically. Don't stop and try to something like watch some TV or a movie. You'll be out in no time.

Cut a little wound and pour some citric juice on it [or hotsauce]. You'll see.

taking with someone all night? watching movies, playing games. basically do something fun that can detract you. also, don't look at the clock, i've gotten more tired after seeing the time, so it's somewhat psychological. caffeine and sugar also helps. granted, why do you want to stay up?

Do you mean like staying up for 24 hours straight? If so, it's not really a good thing to do. Some parts of our bodies only function well when we rest or sleep at a certain regular time. How long we do so also matters... unless it's for an emergency or something urgent. Others have said this but in between or power naps and regular exercise help. Taking a shower works for some, too. Coffee is an option for many but some may not take effects of caffeine well.

Well, if it's only for a one-time thing, this would be a lot of effort to go through and probably not worth it, and you do have to get some sleep, but in theory, you can work your way to only a total of two hours a day if it is spaced out correctly. It is claimed that something like one of the last couple of these patterns is what Leonardo da Vinci did:
