So thought I'd give Cruncyroll a try, however the app on my Roku 4 simply closes whenever I try to play a video. Not sure what to do, no error messages or anything, just closes a few moments after the loading screen shows.

I have a Roku 4 and it is working just fine. It also is working on my Roku 3's.

This is exactly what has been happening on my Roku XD. Haven't been able to watch One Piece in 5 weeks (which is really the only reason I use Crunchy Roll). I was about to go out and buy Roku 4 out of desperation but now I've seen your post. What am I going to do?! I have tried factory reset among other things. Nothing works. Spend about 3 hrs every Saturday trying to get it to play. Roku/CrunchyRoll, HELP!

Tried it on my Roku 3 with the same results. App just closes during "loading" screen.

and it runs the app, you just have to update the roku 4 and ready ..

I have a problem streaming CR from a Roku 4 and audio seems to drop out every thirty seconds or so. I thought it was the device so I tried it with Netflix and it seems to work fine.

I have it set at 4k 10bit with auto audio connected to a Vizio P65-C1

I've tried it at 4k 10 bit, 4k, and 1080p.I've tried it in stereo, auto, and Dolby D, DTS

I've even removes the app and re installed it.
