What do you prefer more in a person?

Intelligence or confidence? May only choose one.

If they are intelligent yet not confident (to a hindering point) it is one of the most amazingly frustrating things in existence. Now if they are confident but not intelligent (to a fault), well I hate to use this saying but ̂you caǹt fix stupid̂.

Intelligent. Fool people are just too stupid to understand the others.
Lack of confidence is okay just be yourself.

Intelligent. I hate talking to people that clearly are idiots. If they lack confidence then I'll be their confidence.

Ya kinda need both to be successful but if I have to choose confidence if I can only choose one. The best thing you can do in any situation is the right thing, the second best thing you can do is the wrong thing, the worse thing you can do is nothing. Intelligent people who lack confidence will end up doing nothing. And confidant people will at least do the wrong thing.

That sounds like something someone that would chose confidence over intelligence would say.

And the field at Passchendaele, Vimy Ridge, The beaches of Normandy, The Hills Of Korea, and the Deserts of Afghanistan weren't fought by whiny intellectuals who pissed their pants at the thought of actually doing something mate.

Confidence without intelligence scares me more than intelligence without confidence. The former simply screams "I will get myself and others killed by not muting my loud mouth." Innaction is potentially deadly, sure, but untempered confidence is something that I find more worrisome. I do consider wisdom as a part of intelligence.
