I think it's cool because it introduces spiritual concepts to people who wouldn't normally consider them. I really like that. Pus they manage to do it in a way that doesn't beat you over the head with it. It doesn't feel forced, and I really like that.

I also think sith philosophy is very interesting. I personally look at it like a metaphor for modern pragmatism and "the end justifies the means" or "survival of the fittest" mentality. I'm not saying this was Lucas's intention or anything . It's just how I like to look at it.

But yea, I like it! It's a really cool element of the Star Wars universe.

There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no fear; there is power.
I am the heart of the Force.
I am the revealing fire of light.
I am the mystery of darkness
In balance with chaos and harmony,
Immortal in the Force.

In other words...

Weird that anyone can use a lightsaber on those movies.

By the way, I only had watched the Phanton Menace and The Force Awakens.
So, my question is with all the movies how should I watch them: in chronological order or some weird pattern? Any movies I should not watch or disregard from memory or existence?

IV, V, I, II, III, VI, VII would be the best order IMHO, although I personally like I, II, III, IV, V,VI, VII. DON'T disregard ep. I as it introduces characters and helps sets up some key plot points for both the main hero of the prequels as well as the main villain.

If you end up loving Star Wars, and you might, there are also some books that are good.

The books on Darth Bane explain the "Rule of Two" the Sith of the movies follow. The movies really never discuss this rule, but it is in place. Basically, there are only two "Darths" at a time. 1 master and 1 apprentice.

It's also suggested that Anakin (Darth Vader) was the result of Darth Plagueis (basically the master before Darth Sidious, Darth Vader's master) tinkering with the force to create life with midichlorians(the carriers of the force that reside in all life).

There's also a lot more fun stuff to learn...

Unfortunately, I don't know how much will stay canon, now that Disney has their hands on Star Wars.

Episode VI, Return of the Jedi.

Most of the fans who said that stopped as time passed and the prequels came out, though...

I've never watched Star Wars so I don't have any thoughts about it.

Why is it that 50% of the time I see the words "Darth Bane" I think of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wk-kNvr2Bgs
