I had two Anime watching phases, the first small one started with Death Note and ran for about 5 series or so, the current big one started with InuYasha

I'm going to feel so old for saying this, after reading all your responses, lolz...

The original "Sailor Moon" series. I was 3 or 4 and watched it religiously up until 8th grade. "DBZ" (the series just after the original "Dragonball") was shortly after I started "Sailor Moon," and I think I was 8 when I started watching that. And back in those days, I was lucky to have cable and watch it in English dubs on TV. I bought many of the movies and TV shows from Suncoast on VHS. It was all I could get my hands on until internet became what it is today. And even then, I was still dependent on getting anime on DVD for a while, since stuff like Crunchyroll still didn't exist yet... lol.

Let the old jokes commence...

I agree with just about everything, but unfortunately I've got you beat on the feeling old, or rather just being old. While you were younger when you first started, I was in high school watching Sailor Moon, DBZ and Gundam. So I was about 7 or 8 years older than you, not something to really boast about, but just the plain simple truth

Though I did have a bit of a resurgence with Sword Art Online, before watching that I had been in a bit of lull about watching new anime, but it reinvigorated my love for it.
