What, you mean to say that in general cops are good people and the media simply takes certain incidents and makes them explode? No, no. You must be wrong.

At the same time, the myth of killer cops is just that, a myth.

You know there is one bullet point I have trouble with

"The majority of those killed were brandishing weapons, suicidal or mentally troubled or bolted when ordered to surrender."

I actually remember a situation with that by the name of James Boyd and while I do think he was in the wrong I do think the cops carried the procedure unlawfully. Now do I think every situation above is like James Boyd of course not but we do have a problem in this country where the bad cops are rarely punished and the ones who try to call out the bad apples sometimes get ostracized by there fellow co workers.

That was the Albuquerque Police Department kill. All bets are off with those clowns.

There are good cops and there are bad cops. Just as there is no war on Christmas there is no war on cops. What you see is people trying to get the corrupted and dirty cops off the force and in bars where they belong. Sadly there will be good cops who get caught up in the mess.

And PapaGregory you seem like a twat to me, this is nothing but a flame post attempting to get people riled up

It's a good thing I never come into these threads with expectations.

There's good and bad in everything. Lucky for us there's more good cops out there than bad. Sadly, with the position they hold and the jobs they do, when one of them fucks up at work it effects more than just a few coworkers.
