of course, by the very definition of freedom of speech. also note that freedom of speech only prevents the government from punishing you for your words. you may still face consequences for your speech.

Freeom of speach does not protect you from the consequences of your words. If you insult someone be ready for those consequences.

Yes, unfortunately freedom of speech comes with negative side effects:

-insulting people

-trolling people online

-using racial slurs without being charged for hate crime

at least verbally threatening someone using violent is already a criminal act.

Selected "Yes". Freedom of speech is one of the most powerful gifts any nation can give to its citizens. It also means you must accept that people will use it to voice their concerns and opinions. It might be an insult to you while it might not be to another. I rather have more people expressing their "Freedom of speech" than have them bottle up their feelings and explode by harming a group of people.
