World peace would NOT be boring. Think of all the places you could go without fear and all the people you could meet.

I wish so too. But that won't happen in a million years as long as special interest groups can benefit from sending pawns to kill each other, and as long as the mainstream continues to allow them.

No. If there is a god, or aliens, it's no surprise they don't want anything to do with us. You'd think after two world wars we would have done better to avoid more wars.

Then what do we need?

A lower birth rate in 3rd world countries.

The world as a Utopia is a dream for a lot of people but it were, I think there would be no diversity in the people or the world in general. I think it would great having a peaceful world but it'd definitely be extremely boring due to that fact.

Maybe, maybe not? I don't really know, I'm not clairvoyant.

Alright then.

Japan and most of Europe are already experiencing a natural population decrease. Hispanic immigrants are the sole reason America is not. The increase in world population is focused squarely on 3rd world countries, the same places that are the source of most current conflicts. Reduced population pressure should reduce stress on many of the resources that are driving current conflicts.

There are no easy answers or simple solutions. Everything is interrelated; you have to address the underlying problems, not just the symptoms.

If it did turn out to be boring I would take that over the current situation. Would be interesting to see what news companies and papers would feed us without their usual take on the doom and gloom that's scattered around the world at the moment.

No, not at all. But I feel there will be no peace on earth in general,
Humans have free will. There will always be disaster in many forms.

(I'm just joking, don't take it the wrong way)

No, you make a great point. Mankind is only part of the food chain, and we may have caused problems, but we're also constantly making improvements.

You can call yourself intelligent for hating that humans kill and eat animals, or you can BE intelligent and understand that this is our nature. Also, most animals are not capable of complex thought or emotion.... so not really sure what the issue is, exactly. Sure, animal cruelty is wrong, but eating animals is just how life works.

animals are capable of complex emotion. what animals don't do is needlessly slaughter other of their own species by the millions for their own purposes. except killer whales. they do kill for sport.
