a world without war? so no lasers? no railguns? no flamethrower tanks? i mean, i don't want people to die, but a world without war would lack so many cool things.

Exactly why we need world peace. Travelling!

It'd hardly make a difference. We wouldn't need to get rid of differences, just make it so that war doesn't feel like a good or necessary option. That might require brain modifications. It's not like we consider all possible actions seriously. Just make it so that other methods seem more obvious, and heroic. We might not be ready to make that kind of change without screwing it up, but our stupid primate brains, could use an update.

I am all for resolution without conflict, but this is seldom very unrealistic. What do we consider peace? Why is is the a lot of people tend to view war and violence as our only barriers to achieving this goal? I understand that most events disrupting peace lead to war or a form of violence, but if we really wanted to break through these barriers, it goes so much deeper. We would have to stop impediments at the source. Individuals would have to experience tranquility on a massive level to acquire world peace, and Utopia is actually kind of terrifying when you think of the means that might be used to obtain it

But it is the excitement that Gotham deserves...

Depends i mean i already play videogames because life isn't exciting.

If i had one wish i would wish for the world to be a world of kill or be killed between humans and animals.

I think it would be boring but there are other ways to get ones need for violence or fighting and destruction.

But earth has already been fully explored and there is no risks ...an adventure without risks and exploration of uncovered places is just...boring is it not?

being worried about obtaining world peace is a pointless hypothetical made by people who are terrorist or those who have never been persecuted

Like worrying about ending world hunger

No ones worried but it would be a little boring at times i mean as much as i hate to admit it ...chaos is kind of fun i mean my favourite time in my town was during the floods we had and most people lost nearly everything.

...but i guess that shows how boring my town is but it's the same type of concept danger leads to adrenaline and adrenaline is fun.

That being said...i'm all for world peace and not getting myself shot at

"I don't like playing video games because I won't be the first or the best."

That's essentially your argument right there, and you know what? People actually don't play video games, especially online and competitive, because of their fragile ego. Seriously?
