Decent episode, but felt there was an awkward flow to it. Also very sudden intro to first match. Still, I hope that it will be good. Let's see how an official team match goes!

Well, that was unexciting.
Need more parkour, less modelling.

Though look like next episode might deliver more parkour.

Well, I could have done with a bit less modeling but...anyway. This time the team worked on what is probably the hardest part, the hive-five off. The scene is also set for the to compete against one the better teams much earlier than expected. We also got to learn more about the 3rd year duo that aren't racing anymore.

From the comments it seems like most didn't like ep 2. Haven't seen it yet because im waiting for the weekend. The first episode of an anime tells me if it's a good series or not and since i loved ep one i'll watch this anime to the end.

I'm here for the seiyuus XD

Episode 2 was so-so. I think everyone's still tryin' to get the hang of each other. Hoping to see more action on Episode 3.

It wasn't really bad. It just leans more to fanservice for females, kind of in the same vein as Free!, so those looking for a straight sports anime are going to be disappointed. If you really liked the first episode, you'll probably still like this one.

Episode 2: Believe - I Will Always Be Here

Yeah this was a pretty laid back episode. Felt more like a filler in a way cause of the modeling and such but you know gotta get them sponsors. All that sets up for next episode where things should get intense.

At least the team that they are going up against look like people that are actually pretty cool. They don't look that cocky or give off a vibe that says hey you should hate us....yet.

Gotta toss some fan service to the ladies gentlemen. They put up with our fanservice, we gotta put up with theirs. Still I don't see how this would warrant a drop, we still haven't got to the race yet. At least watch that guys.

Anyways this place might look a bit emptier but I'll be back next week.

Episode 2 gave me a vision of the future. And the future for this series looks bleak. So I think dropping at that point is pretty reasonable.

I can live with female fanservice. I watched and enjoyed Free! for what it was. And I've seen my fair share of reverse harems of various genres. But that level of pandering at episode two just completely turned me off on the series.

There has been no real character development outside of heavy reliance on trope based characterizations. And they keep introducing more characters in that fashion while giving the series so little time to breathe that it's difficult to even keep up with what's going on. I barely even had a grasp on WHY they were doing that horrendous photo shoot in the first place outside of "lets get the pretty boy characters to do cute and gay stuff to make the girls happy."

If you don't do research on the series initially to know that it's based on an otome game (which I am guilty of), you walk into this thinking that it's just an average sports anime. Because that's kind of what they're billing the show as. But after watching half of episode two it's painfully obvious that isn't at all what the focus is going to be.

The final nail in the coffin for me though is that the sport itself is just a crappy hybrid of parkour and relay racing. Usually I watch sports anime to gain an appreciation for sports that I tend to over-look like baseball, bicycling, tennis, hell even swimming! And I find it really fun to learn technical details about them that I didn't know beforehand. With this though, what the hell am I going to learn here? Pretty boys can run fast while doing parkour. Cool story bro, but no thanks
