have you ever experienced a nightmare?

I had. I was being eaten by a lion in bush. Tragedy memories.

I dreamed I was in a shitty horror RPG and I was in my grandmas house but I knew it was haunted so I went outside and a random guy shot me with a pistol so then I respawned and got shot again, then I went to the petrol station at the end of the road to stay safe for the night but it was closed so I jumped infront of a truck and then I woke up.

Some of my worst nightmares that I remember were from when I was little.

There is one that I always remember, I was drowning in it. It was horrible.

Used to have night terrors every few weeks... Laying in bed, aware of my surroundings in real time... I know because I'd watch the clock from my peripheral vision until I'd wake. Unable to move, unable to scream. Just paralyzed.... Only thing out of the ordinary was a tall (possibly) robed but faceless figure that would stand at my feet at silently watch me the whole time. Its attire was impossible to make out in the dark, as it had an element of formlessness to it anyway. So, we'd spend the nights gazing at each other.

I've had a similar nightmare before and it's one of the reasons I don't like going in pools

The funny part is, I love to swim. I am a bit afraid of going in the ocean though.
