For the past few days I've been unable to use the Crunchyroll app on my Apple TV (4th Generation).

Whenever I try to start the app, I get an 'App Unavailable' error.

I've tried contacting support about this, however they asked me to manage my membership via iTunes.. which is odd as I have never bought premium via iTunes. I don't know how that would be related to the issue either. I have replied explaining this, but two days later - no response. :/

Anybody else having this problem?

I used to get that when I had my 3rd gen Apple TV. I would do a reset of the unit, and it would work again. It only happened maybe three times in the year I owned it. Never really knew, or cared to find out what was causing it.

I sorta completely forgot to reply back to this thread.. whoops.

I did get in contact with CR and they said to wait for an update from the developers; however months later the issue is still there. Reset the device, not working. Reinstalled the app, not working.

This is really annoying. I mean I can Airplay, however it would be nice to actually watch directly through the device :\ - especially considering Airplay seems bugged at the moment and I have to keep my iPad constantly open (and set w/o a lock timeout) to watch something.

I have sent another e-mail to them.. I hope they can sort this out ASAP.

The Apple TV app requires you to be a Premium user. At least the account you are writing from is not Premium, so it will not work if you are using that one on the Apple TV.
