Do horror games scare you?
I'm not scared by horror games, but I do find my paranoia increases afterward.

Supernatural horror scares the living daylights out of me. To clarify, things that are like the Exorcist, Ju-On (aka, The Grudge)...

So games like Silent Hill I will never touch. Resident Evil, on the other hand, I can handle.

I'm paranoid in the aftermath more than i'm scared during the actual game. It's like when I read creepy rituals or eerie stories, I always find myself looking over my shoulder after, it's psychosomatic, as well as in my nature to be a paranoid mess.

Jumpscares... And trying to do some objective when you get a jumpscare, if you fail is the worst for me. If it doesn't have jumpscare element, then nothing is able to push me scared and I even become pretty confident in moving at the game. I don't think there are any games that have made me look over my shoulder. (Movies have succeeded in that.. :'D )

Oops, sorry.

I thought PT was a horror game done right. I don't think I've ever felt as uneasy or strained in a horror game as what PT dealt towards me. I mean, the first time I encountered her, I was like "Whoa," because all I was doing was looking at something in a corner near a table, and suddenly I got attacked. There was no pattern about it, no way of predicting it would happen, which to me was ingenuity on this game's part.

Too bad we'll never see something like this in the near future.....at least from Konami, anyway.

Same here.
Other than that a jumpscare or two might get me. But come on, those are called cheap for a reason. .-.

Yeah true horror is very much a dying breed. Then again anything good that can be done with the genre has been done really.
