I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting Hibike Euphonium vibes from this anime which I really enjoyed watching! I like how this anime seems to be introducing homosexuality into it, the plot seems like it has potential but the graphics have been a little shaky at some moments. Overall I'm looking forward to the progression of this anime.

This seems pretty cute and possibly a feels trip, so I'm gonna stick with it for now.

so wait there's something I still don't understand

I think it's easy to assume the prior but when you think about it it's not really that clear.

Feels like Hyouka+Euphonium (which were both phenomenal) but this just really didn't work very well to be honest.

Episode 2

Fumon Hall is impossible this year seeing that this is a band that doesn't even have a quarter of the members needed. But it all starts with getting a talented oboe player in Miyoko, and she has vowed to never touch the oboe again because of her brother's death. But then comes a puzzle to solve in the form of a Rubik's cube where all the sides are white. But seeing that Haru knows that it was painted over in white in a specific way that he know exactly what to do, and by using the paint the paper fell to reveal a message. That was quite the feel there, but in the end Haru is a pretty smart guy who knows how to fix problems people are having.

Not quite as good as Ep 1 but I still love the way Haru and Chika play off of each other.

Episode 2: Rubik's Cube

Hmmm the whole thing felt forced in my opinion. Yes it was a pretty sad story and the way that they ended up solving it was actually pretty good. It's just all these situations feel forced.

However it was good for character development and I still enjoyed the episode. I was just thinking that this maybe could have been used somewhere later down the line.

I like the new girl though she's cute, has a nice body and isn't afraid to give people shit. But now she is an official member of the band and I look forward to seeing more of her.

Probably gonna recruit members for the next couple episodes, I just hope the music is good when we get to it.

Is anyone else starting to feel this is more of a mystery anime than it is a music anime? Ep one "Who wrote the message and wht does it mean. Ep two "how do we solve this unsolvable puzzle". Thing is if that's what it turns out to be, I'm totally ok with that but I feel like this could turn into another Roka situation where with that anime people expected an action packed battle anime but got mystery, and with this people expect Ephonium but again get mystery and then drop it cause it wasn't what they wanted even tho, arguably Roka was still a pretty darn good anime.

What I'm starting to think, is that the mysteries mentioned will be about the members of the club. The first episode was about the teacher (and possibly Haruta, guessing he wrote the note, especially since he confessed afterwards) and this one was about the girl who lost her brother.

I just can't stand Haruta's personality. Selfish, stalking, jerk. Just messing around with a person who is grieving and for what reason? Because he needs the band to be great so he can help his crush have a successful moment.....wow.

Not to mention the big mystery was terrible. I don't want to speak ill of the dead....but that puzzle was ridiculous. The brother knew his sister's skill at solving puzzles. So why the heck would he leave a puzzle that apparently was meant to be passed after his death to someone that he knew wouldn't have the knowledge to solve it?

Well three episode rule...
