I'm having buffering issues on the website and I'm pretty sure the issue is due to CR using Adobe Flash Player as the same buffering issues I have with CR happened on YT at the same time. YouTube was able to fix the issue by reworking a code which allowed the video to buffer if the size of the video was expanded, however, with CR there has been no improvement for quite some time.

I've been a CR member for quite some time and this is the first time I've questioned cancelling my membership, it's frustrating dealing with an issue that has been rampant for almost over a year now. Any thread I see bringing the issue up either get buried or get paid no attention to by any of the staff. Hell I'm tempted to try and find old posts where I've discussed this previously with other members.

Even getting in touch with some CR subs in Reddit and the issue is pretty widespread just something people deal with, with quick fixes. Sad when CR won't make a permanent fix or even attempt to alleviate the situation.

YouTube switched to HTML5 video as the default in early 2015. They only fall back to Flash if you are using an outdated browser.

On the website not loading / crashing that seems better after 4 tickets

It's like The Wheel of Fortunate logging on here you never know what's going to happen. Very sad for paying customers and why do we need a Tech Degrre to fix problems !

I know students college teachers that dont know to address PC problems > I least I know a few things but we should be able to logon have our settings right and expect to have the same result just inteaact with CR features and watch videos !

This issue has been around well before 2015, I'm sure you should know this with as many points as you've accumulated. My point still stands, it's a persistent issue that hasn't been properly addressed. If you don't have anything to contribute to this thread or have an issue to report please keep the fluff out, it's not necessary and deters from the issue at hand which is still...once again...not fixed.

Edit: YT switching to HTML5 has nothing to do with the fact that YT fixed flash problems prior and even after the switch, if anything that statement works against CR's reputation. There shouldn't be any reason that a streaming site that streams a lot more content is able to fix their system and even upgrade, whereas CR, doesn't even address the issue and tries to avoid it.
